My girlfriend and I came to Niagara and decided to get our first tattoos. The reviews on this place got our vote and it was in such a great location. Only a 5 minute walk from our hotel. The staff were very very professional, gave us information about everything we needed to know before going in for the tattoo. Our artist was very talented, he drew up an amazing design that we both loved and we decided to put it on us for the rest of our lives. HORRIBLE. Firstly, we were not greeted when we came in, all the artists were in a circle talking amongst themselves ignoring everyone. I went to look at what design my boyfriend had on the computer, the artist comes us and says, “How much did you have to drink” we said nothing. Just a cigarette and I used body spray after, he goes “ are you sure?....really?” Like three times. I kept saying “yes I’m sure!”. He then says “oh cus you smell like booze”. So rude and disrespectful. I said no the first time and my answer wasn’t going to change. They have no customer service or interpersonal skills. What a nice shop. Inviting, stylish. The staff is extremely friendly and the work is exceptional. There are great tattoo artists everywhere but this place has some extraordinary beyond great artists. I walked in here recently looking to get a tattoo - the woman at the front desk was just really rude to me for no reason and didn't seem to know much about what they did there. After I talked to one of their artists, I was told my idea "Couldn't be done" hardstop. I asked why, and said that I knew many people with tattoos on their feet and ankles (where I wanted mine) and they said it wasn't something that could be easily done, so their story changed from "couldn't" to "couldn't easily" as though they didn't even want to try. I decided that after talking with them for a few minutes, I'd go look at a few other shops and found one that was willing and able to do exactly what I wanted, and within my budget - and guess what? it turned out GREAT. So no thanks to this place, their rude and arrogant staff doesn't seem to know much about tattooing or customer service... definitely a place to avoid! Read Less

Grant did an excellent job on my tattoo last Saturday night! My daughter drew a flying unicorn on my arm to help me through running my first marathon and I wanted to keep it there forever...so I decided to find a local tattoo parlour. Around the corner from our hotel I found Hart and Huntington, and decided to give it a go. I was greeted warmly and explained what I wanted done. Grant talked me through my options, told me how long it would take, cost, etc. and got to work. He did an excellent job, copying the drawing exactly - even going outside the lines just as my daughter did. It has healed beautifully and looks perfect. I booked in prior to coming to Canada from the UK. Picked Hart & Huntington after researching on line. I picked Grant to do it out of all the artists as he is good at colour work and flowers which is what I wanted. I also got in a small maple leaf for Canada 150. Over the moon with his work and glad to have chosen him. I now have time to think of more to have done to make a Full sleeve on my next yearly vist to Niagara. Thank you Grant see you next visit. Awesome place! I was here yesterday for a tattoo with Tori. She did an amazing job, I love my tattoo. I got a tattoo from Tyler about a year ago and it looks great! I had a web piercing done back a few months ago. I went back and forth with the guy over the length of the barbell my web needed because of how it sits when its resting (I've had multiple, sucessful web piercings over the years) but he insisted on a 1/4 inch bar when I knew from this experience that I needed at least 3/4 inches. Ultimately, the guy went with his own way and attempted to place a 1/4 inch bar, which after a painful 5 minute struggle, did not fit. Finally he dec...ides to put in a half inch one instead. Another painful 5 minutes of struggling with that one, the ball finally goes on but I complain that its very tight and uncomfortable. He insists that it fits and its just the swelling from the 10 minutes of constant poking and pulling an aggitation. Figuring that this is a reputable shop and he's the pro, my experience may be wrong, so we paid the $50 (steep for such a small and simple piercing btw) and went along. A week later, everything was still sore and way too small, but I continued with cleaning regularly and hoped for the best. A few days later, I noticed the edges of the piercing had grown over the too-small barbell and the piercing was encased inside. I had to have the barbell removed surgically by a dentist, and the whole thing left my tongue web disfigured and scarred. See More Read Less

Amazing. I worked with Graham to do a half sleeve cover up. I am absolutely thrilled with my new tattoo. Graham was very friendly and funny and is without a doubt a true artist. The name brought us in! I had a piercing changed. She never asked me what I wanted in terms of color even though it was temporary. It was almost as Much as getting the piercing done and I ended up with an ugly ring in my ear. My fiance got a tattoo. Simple and looks great but the guy was not at all helpful with suggestions for the tattoo he got or for more work to be done.
