Anna is an amazing person to get pierced with! In the last month I have pretty much been in there every weekend getting another piercing and never had any issues. This past weekend I got my Rook pierced and it gave her a hard time because my ear is thick in that area but she was very reassuring and kept checking to see if i was alright. :) Also, got a small tattoo with my sister there this weekend with Andrew he was a guest tattoo artist but honestly had our sides splitting from laughing so hard. I did my septum piercing here about an hour ago, and I had an amazing experience with customer service and how my piercer did it overall. The place is very clean, and sanitary and I could see the tools she was using. She went through the process of the aftercare as she was doing it, told me to take a deep breath and she pierced it and it didn't hurt at all. She ensured that I was okay afterwards as I was shaky and a little light headed. My piercer was very sweet and informative and she made me feel very comfortable. I decided to get a double helix piercing and researched about 5 places before settling on Skintricate. I was nervous about pain and cleanliness. The shop was clean and the piercing set-up/room was clean. Anna did a great job, I felt relaxed and it was quick with minimal pain. I went with two others who also had piercings done. Anna ensured we felt ok before and after the piercing and that we were satisfied with the positioning. We are all happy with the results and would definitely return. UPDATE: my piercing nearly got infected because the piercer used a bar that was too short during the healing process!! Made it super painful as the cartlidge swelled after piercing.. went to malefic tattoos down the street to get to check up and changed it to a ring.Ive been to many piercers around sauga and I wouldn't recommend skintricate. Here's what happened..I called into skintricate first to make sure the piercer is in and we could do a walk-in, the reception would only give a yes or no answer and after speaking to him once and phoning him again he never answered. I went here to get my cartridge pierced by a lady I presume is Anna.-the place felt like a mess, and not an organized mess either. There was half eaten food on the counter, dirty dishes and dirty mop buckets with cleaning water still in it next to us.-we walked in and walked out with Anna using the same gloves THE ENTIRE TIME, she'd touch jackets, hair, chair, open drawers close drawers, and everything with the same gloves.  Which should be changed throughout the whole process.-upon letting her know i wanted a cartlidge piercing repierced, she said it was 'fucked up' area to get pierced at the cartridge (but legit located where the industrial piercing is) and then assumed I got it done by a piercing gun (which I didn't, it was by needle proffesionally but unfortunately closed up after time) -She marked where the piercing would go, but then pierced it off the mark.-i listened to her and instead of getting the curve done and pierced straight through my cartridge flat side. So it ended up swelling a lot.-she did NOT even go through what size the needle she was using- the whole thing took less then 10 minutes, it felt completely rushed and it was pretty apparent that she was bored or tired of answering the same questions.What shocked me the most was hygiene, most piercers would disinfect chairs, wash hands wear gloves in front of you and would regularly change them. Even a cartridge piercing would require more than just one cotton ball and a needle. I wouldn't reccomend skintricate, to  others. Read Less

I came here for a couple of piercings with Anna and she was very informative and put me at ease prior to the piercings. She went step by step verbally with me and after she marked the spots to get pierced she asked me to look in the mirror to see if I liked the positioning. Skintricate is the best place to go in Mississauga if you're looking to get pierced or tattooed. I've been here on several different occasions and each time has been fantastic. I received my very first tattoo by Mike and several others by Sinead (who no longer is at the location) and I've been coming back ever since. I've also been pierced 3 times by Anna. Everyone is so lovely, friendly, accommodating and patient. I can't help but get very nervous every time I come in for an appointment, and they always make me feel great! Kyle was great at making sure I was comfortable and we were able to take a few breaks in-between the work to give my skin a rest.... The design of the Dragon was done perfectly and Kyle free-handed the flames. The tattoo came out amazing and it looks great on me. The placement was done perfectly on the first attempt and there was an overall good atmosphere during my 3 hours there. The shop itself is very clean (even the bathrooms were spotless). All the staff were very pleasant and easy to talk to. At no point did I feel uncomfortable in any way. The pricing was also fair and I ended up paying what I was quoted. I did my research prior to getting my first tattoo and this was, by number of reviews and rating, the best place to get it. And I wasn't disappointed at all! Destiny was my tattoo artist and she went above and beyond the reference photo that I sent in. Now, I have a piece of art on my body that I won't even regret for a second. She also reassured me multiple times which helped a lot. The staff is also very friendly and comforting. My gf and I went into Skintricate today to get our rook ear piercing. Anna is quite honestly the kindest, most genuine soul that works at this location. My first tattoo and first experience at this location was well satisfied.  I did some compare of price and design I had with other locations and this place was giving me lot cheaper.  The receptionist was friendly and nice also.Hollywood did such an amazing art work, he completed it in less than 40 mins and I was surprised!!  My hub will be booking his tattoo here and I also highly recommended to all my friends! I went in yesterday intending to get both my nipples pierced. Anna took the time to explain that for my particular body I should get one at a time to make sure that there are no issues due to migration or rejection, which I'm really grateful for. The shop could have made more money to just give me both regardless of the risks, but I really appreciated her concern and professionalism. It's reassuring to see how much they genuinely care about their clientele! She was really thorough and made me feel very comfortable. I'm pretty OCD, especially about piercing placement (since it won't be moving once it's in obviously), but she marked me perfectly straight and was very precise when piercing. I've heard about the shop before. So Sunday my husband and I were walking along and saw the shop. We decided to step in and inquire about some tattoo ideas. I have tattoos and been going to someone else. But walking into the shop I was greeted right away and the ambiance was awesome. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's not too big which keeps it intimate and the vibe there is great. I love that they have a big TV on the wall so you can watch Netflix while getting your tattoo. I had my third tattoo done here in May of 2014. Based on my past experiences of going to a well known shop in downtown Toronto, I can definitely say this was a way better experience. This is a smallish shop with very little in terms of "private spaces" which I thought would bother me considering I needed to be almost topless in a public place for 2 hours, but the day I was in it was just the artist, my friend and I. Made it a very comfortable experience. The artist (can't remember his name but had glasses) was absolutely professional and talked me through the entire thing, but wasn't overly chatty. Nothing worse than trying to zone out the pain and someone always drawing you back to the reality... conversely, I have had other experiences where the artist was only talking to the other artists in the room and ignoring me. This artist, and Skintricate, has the exact perfect balance.Skintricate also looked impeccably clean and every step was explained before it happened. I felt like the tattoo was a bit more on the expensive side, but given the very positive experience I had, I would pay that all over again. In fact, I plan to get my next tattoo there. Read Less

Skintricate Tattoo Company without a doubt, the BEST tattoo parlor in Ontario Canada.  From Toronto down, those big names got nothing on Skintricate.  I traveled from Winston Salem, North Carolina US to Toronto, ON via motorcycle for the awesome ride and exp, and get tattooed by the best, Hollywood.  In my travels I visited several tattoo shops to scope out talent and I can tell you the best are up in Mississauga, ON- specifically in Streetsville, ON.  The staff there is very nice and professional, and they treat each other like family.  Hollywood is the senior tattoo artist and owner, and the guy is a freaking beast tattooing!  Keeps it real, but makes you feel like you've known him for years.  He can be very down to earth, but the man is a perfectionist and knows his shit!  His work speaks for himself, check him out!  The rest of the guys, Kyle, Mike, and the apprentice are all phenomenal artist and awesome people as well.  I highly recommend Skintricate Tattoo company, I'm not being paid to post this or say anything positive, I'm taking time out to write this because they're worth this and more.  If you're doing research, trying to find the best tattoo shop in Ontario, stop here and you will not be disappointed. j5***** service, 5***** people!  (In case I didnt say enough lol,) I also want to thank Hollywood's lady for being so nice and professional, and working with me.  Cheers!!!
