We have three full time artists specializing in all fields; black and gray, new school, portraits, full color and everything in between. My wife went in yesterday for her first tattoo. She was incredibly nervous as this was her first time in a tattoo parlour much less looking to ink her body permanently. She didn't go in with any images or anything, just a description of what she wanted. Texas on one arm, Ontario on the other. Just outlines. Kat was her artist, and she drew mockups of what the tattoos would look like on her iPad in Procreate. My wife had no idea what to expect from this experience, but when Kat emerged from the back with the drawings she had planned for the tattoos, my wife was ecstatic. It looked much better than she had imagined, and Kat was clearly very talented. Kat asked her a few more questions about specifics, asked for my wife's input, gave a bit of input of her own, and they reached mutual agreements over what was going to be done. A few minutes later and my wife was in the chair and ready to go.
The pain wasn't as bad as she had imagined, and she described the experience with Kat as, "like chatting with an old friend." There was some banter, lots of pleasant conversation about life, history, languages, and even some dating chat. Kat was very sharp, professional, and incredibly personable. She was described as the type of person that you could just hang with for hours and never get tired of. As someone that was going in for their first tattoo, something pretty life-changing for a lot of people, she was of great comfort to my wife and eased her mind about the entire process.
The whole process took about an hour and a half from start to finish, and it ran us $200, which we were both very happy about. Good time, good price, and the tattoos look fantastic.
This meant a lot to me, to her, and the art is a representation of something very meaningful to us and to our daughter, and the artist and the studio made this an incredibly lovely experience for all parties involved. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get inked, and to Kat especially. My wife doesn't speak so highly of just anyone, and for her to sing Kat's praises, is, well, high praise.

Went for a consultation for a cover-up tattoo at Nude Buddha in Milton. Adam was his name and he looked like he was on drugs. Was told he would freehand the whole tattoo on the day of... I told him I was not comfortable with that idea and to please send me some ideas before my next appointment. Paid 100$ for a deposit and I never got any designs sent to me! So I naturally cancelled and went somewhere else. They took my money but did nothing for me! Scammers. Not to mention their dirty location. Right in with the sex shop. Gross!

You would think with all the bad reviews for this place, that you might want to reconsider changing some of your policies. The one experience I had here, ended with the initial consult. At that time, I was quoted an extraordinary price for a full back tattoo, almost triple the amount in comparison to what I actually ended up paying for it, somewhere else. When I expressed my shock and disbelief, I was lead to believe that I was getting a deal. Won't be back - can't comment about the art work unfortunately, which is too bad.

The artist was great I got two tattoo's and my husband got one and we love them, this review is more about the rude girl who works there and their shop policies I will not be mentioning the artist's name as this is not for them. I was told before getting my hand tattoo that they are prone to fading and that touch ups aren't free, no problem. After a few days of scabbing I noticed when it flaked off some of the ink went with it, its a solid black heart and its extremely noticeable so I called the shop and spoke with the same girl who barged in while getting my tattoo to make sure I was up to date on the touch up policy and she said that again no free touch ups, this is under a week of having it and to me and everyone else I have told its not a touch up its getting the job done right that I have already paid for but she told me they wont fix it however I could email her a picture of it and she would get back to me to see if the shop owner would help, I heard nothing! All I was told by this girl was it was my risk for a hand tattoo and they are prone to fading and they absolutely will not help me unless I get another tattoo there... get f***ed I am not coming back! I am aware it is a tough spot and prone to fading but chunks of my tattoo are missing and its been a week today and after hearing no response to my email I am not giving you guys another shot or good review, I hope the artists moves on as they are talented however this particular tattoo just required more black ink filled in which I have arranged with another shop and have advised everyone to steer clear of this place!

My boyfriend paid 395$ for a name on his forearm and when he got home he noticed the tattoo artist forgot to do some lines. It's not terrible but their pricing is extremely unreliable. Not happy but my tattoo isn't terrible

The woman who worked at the reception was really nice when I went to the parlour. But the problem here is that I went there last night to get my nose done because I couldn't take appointments and the piercer was busy. She told me to call her the next morning so I did and she told me to come at 2pm. So at 2pm I go and she tells me that the piercer is busy so come back after 2 hours. I made it clear to her over the phone that I am travelling. There needs to be the option of making an appointment for piercings because this makes everyone's life more difficult. Theirs with the reviews going down and ours when we don't get the customer service we deserve from a so called professional piercing parlour.

And yes I'm definitely returning for future tattoos too since the cleanliness and safety is hard to beat.

I went and got the cash and came back. The artist fussed for over an hour drawing 8 letters. End of the day I can live with that it's on you for... life. Here's where I take issue halfway through the artist buddy shows up walks in room and all of a sudden I don't exist the artist is talking with his buddy telling him he has to hear this song then Dickson around with his phone till he finds it and he would do a bit more then get distracted again I found this disrespectful truly to the customer not to mention a waste of my time. Once finished I go to pay and they tell me it's twice as much as quoted because it was a different artist and some how because the 8 letters I told them I wanted were on both hands instead of one it was my fault and that it took longer. It took longer because I came second fiddle to his buddy and there convo. I recommend driving into 7 Crowns in Toronto a lot more expensive but you get what you pay for good work and a PROFESSIONAL environment See More

I didn't wait too long until I met the artist who was going to work on me, I was only getting a few numbers done, no detail so mainly lines.. they were coordinates to be exact done in a small font size. It only took 20 mins to get done, and after he finished itnlooked good, I asked to get 3 more numbers done on each wrist and same size, with it only being 1/3 of the coordinates it would have only taken 15 minutes max. I as...ked him how much and to my surprise he said $250!!! I then asked how much for coordinates and he said $150!! Major rip off! Almost every tattoo shop charges $100-$120/hr. This was 20 minutes for $150!! I was thinking of getting a half sleeve done but after I heard what I was charged, there's no way I'll give them repeat business! I'm from Montreal and had all my ink done at Tattoo Mania & Adrenaline Montreal, who know how to properly price their work which is why they get a lot of repeat business. I guess I'll make my way to Skintricate or Good Point. See More

My daughter went to nude Buddha to have a tattoo fixed. Long and short, JSin spent an hour and a half on her tattoo and charged her $400, $200 per hour are their rates. Her appt was for 1:00 pm, he started on her at 1:25 pm and completed her work at 2:52 pm. Being young and inexperienced, my daughter paid the money and left, she was taken advantage of. I called the studio today, I spoke with JSin and asked him why he charged her for an extra half hour. He was very rude, using many expletifs, he said that he doesn't run a meter and that her appt. was at 1:00 pm. I said that she was ready at 1:00 pm and he wasn't and she should be charged from the time he started her work. He ended up telling me to go f--k myself and hung up. Wow, what a professional business.

Frustrated and disappointed: Nude Buddha-DONT DO IT!Have 2 tattoos: both made in Milton. Both shops have good artists, but both suck when it comes to business savvy and customer service.Nude Buddha:Our first appointment, we showed up and they had not recorded us in their appointment book. 2nd appointment, booked with an artist and was told that HE was not going to do mine but someone else would, and this was the owner that assured me they were not like the other shop, but professional. Not cheap and told touch ups were included.Made an appointment for a touch up, showed up and no one wrote us in the appointment book again, so we left. Made a 2nd appointment for a touch up, took 3 weeks to coordinate both artists. Got smarter, called to make sure that they were expecting us and was told that the OWNER was not available for the touch up as he was busy doing drawings etc..asked to speak to him, was asked to leave my # and that he would call me back in 10 mins, as our appt was in 45 mins. 2 hours later still have not heard from him and did not go to appointment.Does anyone know a tattoo shop that has good artists and is balanced business wise. A business that is accountable, responsible, professional and provides good customer service and gives a S--T?Hopefully local in the Halton Region. Do you think they would care if I called the better business bureau?

The artist was great I got two tattoo's and my husband got one and we love them, this review is more about the rude girl who works there and their shop policies I will not be mentioning the artist's name as this is not for them. I was told before getting my hand tattoo that they are prone to fading and that touch ups aren't free, no problem. Theirs with the reviews going down and ours when we don't get the customer service we deserve from a so called professional piercing parlour.

Everybody at Nude Buddha is terrific. Especially Jason as tattoo artist, he is the man. Although it might be cheaper there and well worth the drive, I will not recommend any other tattoo artist but him. And yes I'm definitely returning for future tattoos too since the cleanliness and safety is hard to beat.

First off its a clean shop that uses proper equipmemt and new needles so they are a legit, clean and safe place to get a tattoo Secondly based on others reviews I would recommend using Jsin and him only as he has the best reviews and here was my experience using others at the shop Went in got a quote was told it would take an hour. I went and got the cash and came back. The artist fussed for over an hour drawing 8 letters. End of the day I can live with that it's on you for... life. Here's where I take issue halfway through the artist buddy shows up walks in room and all of a sudden I don't exist the artist is talking with his buddy telling him he has to hear this song then Dickson around with his phone till he finds it and he would do a bit more then get distracted again I found this disrespectful truly to the customer not to mention a waste of my time. Once finished I go to pay and they tell me it's twice as much as quoted because it was a different artist and some how because the 8 letters I told them I wanted were on both hands instead of one it was my fault and that it took longer. It took longer because I came second fiddle to his buddy and there convo. I recommend driving into 7 Crowns in Toronto a lot more expensive but you get what you pay for good work and a PROFESSIONAL environment See More

I was well greeted and the place looked very clean. I didn't wait too long until I met the artist who was going to work on me, I was only getting a few numbers done, no detail so mainly lines.. they were coordinates to be exact done in a small font size. It only took 20 mins to get done, and after he finished itnlooked good, I asked to get 3 more numbers done on each wrist and same size, with it only being 1/3 of the coordinates it would have only taken 15 minutes max. I as...ked him how much and to my surprise he said $250!!! I then asked how much for coordinates and he said $150!! Major rip off! Almost every tattoo shop charges $100-$120/hr. This was 20 minutes for $150!! I was thinking of getting a half sleeve done but after I heard what I was charged, there's no way I'll give them repeat business! I'm from Montreal and had all my ink done at Tattoo Mania & Adrenaline Montreal, who know how to properly price their work which is why they get a lot of repeat business. I guess I'll make my way to Skintricate or Good Point. See More

The ignorance of some of the reviews on here is crazy! All the artists here are true artists, not just scratchers like you see at most other shops these days. The atmosphere is great and the shop itself is clean and cozy! ... As to someone saying "The Prices are Expensive"... You get what you pay for in this industry. He work from NBT will be something you will actually be proud of and by wanting to cover up! See More

My daughter went to nude Buddha to have a tattoo fixed. Long and short, JSin spent an hour and a half on her tattoo and charged her $400, $200 per hour are their rates. Her appt was for 1:00 pm, he started on her at 1:25 pm and completed her work at 2:52 pm. Being young and inexperienced, my daughter paid the money and left, she was taken advantage of. I called the studio today, I spoke with JSin and asked him why he charged her for an extra half hour. He was very rude, using many expletifs, he said that he doesn't run a meter and that her appt. was at 1:00 pm. I said that she was ready at 1:00 pm and he wasn't and she should be charged from the time he started her work. He ended up telling me to go f--k myself and hung up. Wow, what a professional business.

Frustrated and disappointed: Nude Buddha-DONT DO IT!Have 2 tattoos: both made in Milton. Both shops have good artists, but both suck when it comes to business savvy and customer service.Nude Buddha:Our first appointment, we showed up and they had not recorded us in their appointment book. 2nd appointment, booked with an artist and was told that HE was not going to do mine but someone else would, and this was the owner that assured me they were not like the other shop, but professional. Not cheap and told touch ups were included.Made an appointment for a touch up, showed up and no one wrote us in the appointment book again, so we left. Made a 2nd appointment for a touch up, took 3 weeks to coordinate both artists. Got smarter, called to make sure that they were expecting us and was told that the OWNER was not available for the touch up as he was busy doing drawings etc..asked to speak to him, was asked to leave my # and that he would call me back in 10 mins, as our appt was in 45 mins. 2 hours later still have not heard from him and did not go to appointment.Does anyone know a tattoo shop that has good artists and is balanced business wise. A business that is accountable, responsible, professional and provides good customer service and gives a S--T?Hopefully local in the Halton Region. Do you think they would care if I called the better business bureau?
