Went in to enquire about new jewellery for a piercing, they offered to order it in for me and call me with a price. I even offered to pay ahead of time. Would not call me back, or respond to messages on facebook. Found this to be quite disrespectful. Lost my business as well as any friends, family. Went to a better place and jewellery was changed on the spot. Will never step foot in that shop again! And in talking to people online, hearing similar stories. Can I put a negative star review? Blacky did a large coloured cover up tattoo for me and more recently a forearm piece. He caught the image I was looking for, and perfected it. I'm extremely pleased with both. He is patient, understanding and both blacky and Cory (his wife) make the tattoo experience very homely and comfortable. I've also had several friends that I know have been tattood by him all of whom are in love with their ink just as much as I'm in love with mine. Nice guy, nice wife, just not the best tattoo artist around. I wanted him to just go over some writing but he did his own thing and now you see the old writing and the new and it just looks awful. And he's been saying for months he's been waiting on his jewellery supplier, so for now he just uses the wrong jewelry for your piercings. My friend got a labret piece put in her nose and nobody could get it out and for myself he used a ring with no ball so the space was in my nose and it just healed around it's now I do t even have the pierced nose I paid for.Read Less

Blacky did one for me 2yrs ago. I went in with some sketches and ideas, he brought it to life! He completely listened and heard what I wanted and brought it to life. It still looks awesome and I am VERY happy with it! Stayed in after hours for my brothers tattoo when he got his done and the staff were so kind. I later on got mine also done with blacky too. We were pretty nervous because it was both our first tattoos, but they showed us we had nothing to be worried about. The end result was remarkable & I would give you 6 stars if I could. Read Less

I don't normally write reviews but I have to for Blacky! If you are looking to get a dermal piercing done, I highly recommend Blacky! I had a dermal done by Blacky 4 years ago just under my belly button and it healed and looks amazing! 4 years later it is still great and is not rejected ( I heard most do after a year or so). About a week ago I had a set pierced on my lower back dimples and they are perfect! The dermal piercings are pierced closely to my skin so they don't hang out, meaning less chances of it getting caught on anything! Receptionist was Super friendly and kind, super clean!
