Talented, clean, super professional, and honest pricing. These guys aren't prima donnas, they're just damn good artists. I spend 4 hours driving there and back for each session and it's well worth it. Sean is tops to work with. He's collaborative and knows what it takes to make something look great. Bottom line, you go in there hoping it'll look great and you leave with something better than you imagined. That's pretty rare these days.

Dave did my third tattoo in August 2015 on my leg from my ankle to below my knee. I gave him two different tattoo ideas that I wanted and he was able to combine them to make a sweet looking tattoo. Heβs very creative. This is a large tattoo. Since I didnβt want to go away to college with a half finished tattoo, I told him to do it all in one go. It took almost 5 hours. We had a great time though. Another artist hung out as she had no clients at that time. He let me have as many breaks as I needed. Once it was done I was very sore, but impressed. Thank you Dave! I still get compliments all the time.
Update: As of April 19th, 2018, one of the pictures attached to this review of my tattoo has gotten almost 30,000 views. Iβm pleased that so many people have seen Daveβs amazing work.

I can't believe the art the artist's can do here. My first tattoo was done by their apprentice and he is a great guy, right when you step in the door he makes you feel welcome with his introductions and small chats. He had a very steady hand and talked the whole time keeping my mind off the feeling. My second tat was by Mel she is also great, has chats with you and can keep conversations going. Thank you to both those artist, and that will not be the last of them seeing me.

Jacob is the best artist I've ever had and he is super chill too. A great environment in general and you'll feel like a good friend on the first visit. The place is clean and comfortabe too.

The staff are very friendly , Melanie did my tattoo and she did a very good job ! However the price was a bit much but i guess if you want quality ink that's the price you have to pay . My friends said it looks great . And I'm very happy with it ! Still in the healing process at the moment . I probably will go back at some point . π€

I found her artistic ability and her standard of work to be superior. I absolutely love the beautiful work she did on this important tattoo. It represents a 32 year career in the Air Force. Hands down the best shop out there! Sean has an amazing talent. I had originally started my sleeve at another shop. "Big mistake". That's when I met Sean. He completely redid my hole arm and spent many hours turning it into an amazing master piece that I love. I have many pieces done by Sean now and I don't have a single complaint. Every line is perfect and clean, the shading and detail is out of this world. I couldn't be happier. The shop is super clean and everyone who works there is very friendly. Very easy going atmosphere, always feel like I'm just hanging out at home with some good friends! Can't thank Sean enough for the hard work he's put into my tattoos. Your truly amazing!
Hands down my #1 recommended place to get some ink!!! π

I got my first tattoo with Dave here at Hanger18. Could not ask for a better experience. It was an open concept tattoo which Dave was super excited about. He did a fantastic job on it and now I get to enjoy his incredible work and my tattoo every single day. Everyone at Hanger18 is always so friendly and only provide the top quality service and care. It is nice to see tattoo artists caring for their clients and helping them take care of their tattoos in the best way possible. I would easily recommend this place as being one of the best in London. I went in with a sketch I drew and talked to someone at the counter, I told him I wanted it redrawn in my artists style. four months later I show up to my appointment and the artist tells me he didn't bother changing anything. four months and my artist looked at the image I drew the morning of my appointment. I'm very disappointed and not only will I never be coming back, I will be spreading my negative experience to any of my friends who are looking for tattoos. terrible, terrible service.

I went in with an idea that I have had floating around in the back of my head for quite some time. I was greeted by Jacob and showed him a picture, he recommended Sean and took my measurements. 3 weeks later I met with Sean and what he had drawn up was absolutely stunning. We went to work on my back and I was impressed at how much he could accomplish in such little time. His work is fast, clean and the finished product is beyond amazing. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone, Sean is the best around, hands down no questions asked!

Such an awesome place. I had Dave Schultz do a piece on my ankle. I had such a hard time describing what I had envisioned and he was able to take all the jumble from my head and create a beautiful piece of art! He did a watercolour bird, and the watercolour looks so realistic. I have already received so many compliments on it and it hasn't even been a week. Great work by Dave... Thanks again!

Talented, clean, super professional, and honest pricing. These guys aren't prima donnas, they're just damn good artists. I spend 4 hours driving there and back for each session and it's well worth it. Sean is tops to work with. He's collaborative and knows what it takes to make something look great. Dave did my third tattoo in August 2015 on my leg from my ankle to below my knee. I gave him two different tattoo ideas that I wanted and he was able to combine them to make a sweet looking tattoo. Heβs very creative. This is a large tattoo. Since I didnβt want to go away to college with a half finished tattoo, I told him to do it all in one go. It took almost 5 hours. I can't believe the art the artist's can do here. My first tattoo was done by their apprentice and he is a great guy, right when you step in the door he makes you feel welcome with his introductions and small chats. He had a very steady hand and talked the whole time keeping my mind off the feeling. My second tat was by Mel she is also great, has chats with you and can keep conversations going. I went in with a sketch I drew and talked to someone at the counter, I told him I wanted it redrawn in my artists style. four months later I show up to my appointment and the artist tells me he didn't bother changing anything. four months and my artist looked at the image I drew the morning of my appointment. I'm very disappointed and not only will I never be coming back, I will be spreading my negative experience to any of my friends who are looking for tattoos. terrible, terrible service.

I went in with an idea that I have had floating around in the back of my head for quite some time. I was greeted by Jacob and showed him a picture, he recommended Sean and took my measurements. 3 weeks later I met with Sean and what he had drawn up was absolutely stunning. We went to work on my back and I was impressed at how much he could accomplish in such little time. His work is fast, clean and the finished product is beyond amazing. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone, Sean is the best around, hands down no questions asked!
