I manage a tattoo shop and am also a tattoo artist. while checking out the tattoo scene I checked this shop out. It was disgusting all clients had their shoes off and the floors were disgusting I also experienced horrible customer service. The art itself, I cannot speak on due to the fact that the service was so poor. However with the lack of heigiene and cleanliness I would not even consider getting a tattoo here. I left disgusted. I just came put from a tattoo with Genny. I told her how my pain tolerance was low, and how I squirm when the liner needle is being used. Everyone in this shop came and helped me when I started to feel sick. Not only did I walk out with a beautiful piece for my grandma (whom cried when she saw the picture), she also took time to cross the "t" in my mothers memorial, which had pained me for 3 years not having done. After a very meh, experience from a shop down the road we traveled over to Power House. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and welcomed. After quickly discussing my ideas for my piece, I booked with Grove, certain his style and expertise were perfect for the tattoo I wanted- Tribal Shark with profile of girl in ...design with traditional Polynesian patterns. Cut to my appointment today and he was indeed the correct choice. The tattoo turned out beautiful and even more intricate than I was expecting initially. Perfectly spaced, symmetry to design, attention to very small details in the design. Thanks Grove! The entire staff was very professional, and welcoming. Stopped in just after having a crappy consult at another shop. From the moment i walked in i had a great feeling about the place. Was greeted right away by Ines and had a great consult with her. She was very patient and open to my suggestions without taking offense. Was able to get my tattoo same day and she did a great job. Would love to get more work done by her. Very cheap and very fast however also very unsanitary. The tattoo artist put on gloves and started the tattoo. Then stopped to text on his cell phone and continued the tattoo without changing his gloves. Then answered the business phone and continued the tattoo without changing his gloves. I don't typically write reviews but this place deserves every word!! Grove did my shoulder piece and Gen did my hubby's shoulder piece at the same time. To say they take pride in how they treat their clients is an understatement. When you spend time at PH, you feel like you've known them all for years. Most chill and welcoming environment I've ever seen in any tattoo shop which is hard to come by these days. Anyone looking into getting tattooed by the best should pay a visit to PHT. Went to power house with my daughter to get a tattoo together. First one for both of us. Went there after going for a consult with another place and was very displeased with how we were treated (Berlin tattoo) but very glad that happened as we had Mike do both of our tats and he made the first time experience very comfortable and enjoyable and did a fantastic job. This was my first time, getting inked at the power House, and the Artist was Mike, I loved the way I was greeted right away with a friendly smile, and I felt comfortable right from the get go.
