Ben put my mind at ease and drew me an amazing piece of art -- better than I could have ever imagined. He also made me feel super at ease during the tattoo so the pain was almost non existent. I've never had a single problem with any of the artist at Berlin. They all do amazing work. When I'm looking for a tattoo I always go in and sit and wait till one of the guys has a quick second to talk with me. The only way you'll get exactly what you want is by going in. How do you describe a tattoo on the phone... simple, you don't. I will continue to go to Berlin because they are a lot better than a lot of the sketchy shops in waterloo region. Absolutely disgusted by the lack of customer service. For those who don't know, Cam and another dumb inkhead screwed around a potential customer. When she left a negative review, Cam tracked her workplace down and began berating her at work! Harassment 101. Should I be expecting a visit from that douchebag as well? Wow just the recent review, completely unprofessional arguing with a customer who was treated poorly when she has every right to feel the way she did. Everyone is entitled to there opinion and everyone has a right to review and give you either 1 star or 5. An apology right in the beginning would go a very long way. Arguing and going back and forth about what happened will not do anything just make the company look extremely bad and totally unprofessional. Also unprofessional... to go into the customers workplace, even with "positive intentions" a companies employees should never do this and we all knew that would never end in a positive manner. Called and asked some simple questions about their machines and inks and no one would give any information. Let alone knew one thing about their equipment or where they purchase them. Are they using used tools? Walked in one time before and asked a simple do you guys do piercings and they all looked and laughed at me. I'll never be going here again. Especially after witnessing their shotty line work and God awful traditional tattoos. Every artist should be able to do a pin up. They can't even do that. Read Less

I had my biggest tattoo so far done at Berlin by Dylan. I gave him a mess of like, 5 separate images because I suck at putting ideas together and he created the most beautiful piece of art. I've heard great things about their work, and from what I've seen it's very good. However when I was in recently they did a poor job of making me feel welcome, and it seemed like I was a huge inconvenience just asking to book a consultation. If you don't care about your artist being personable, their work looks great, but there are enough talented artists around that I've decided to go somewhere that will at least pretend that my business is important to them. I brought essentially complete concept art for my mid-upper arms to Dylan Derry; when I returned for my appointment, I was only worried about the sizing. The Faith & Glory Collective are a small group of tattoo artists that banded together to form their own shop after years and years of working for larger, well known companies. The idea, as it was explained to me is simple, "Do what you love."The shop is in downtown Kitchener just above a 20/20 Optical which sounds like an odd place but the space is perfect. There isn't a lot of walk in traffic but you can always show up without an appointment and if they're busy they'll book you in right there. Calling ahead is always your best option as these gentlemen can have a waiting list. There are four artists (plus an apprentice)  that call this place home and each one has his own style. Just taking a look around the shop is a good indication of how well rounded they are as the walls are covered in sketches and drawings all done by the shop artists. Sometimes they have prints for sale of these pieces.The shop itself is open, well lit and clean as a whistle. Everything is sterilized and packaged properly. Counters and work stations are constantly wiped down, cleaned and cleaned again. There is a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere that seems inviting and positive. I think it's just a natural side effect of enjoying your work.There isn't much in the way of parking so you might have to hunt for a spot at a parking lot close by (a block or so away at best, two or three at worst).
