I called ahead to see if they had any openings, and luckily I was nearby and walked in. I showed the tattoo artist what I wanted, and it was really easy-going. He charged me based on the tattoo, but they only take cash so I recommend bringing cash, or there is a 7/11 half a block away. My tattoo is beautiful and exactly how I wanted it. The place was very tidy, hygienic, and had a really chill vibe. I had a really good time talking to both of the tattoo artists there, they even recommended a spot to see a band, which ended up being great. I have had a few tattoos done here (4 to be exact) and I haven't had any problems. Saturdays are walk-in days and they are generally booked up within the first half hour. I would strongly suggest booking an appointment during the week if you want to be guaranteed to have work done. All of my tattoos turned out great and they were all very inexpensive. Both of the artists at Squirrels are great at what they do and they are very friendly people who like to joke around. They make the experience comfortable and memorable. Read Less
