Hands down best shop in town!! Jen has done my last 5 tattoos, and I couldn't be happier! The first was a memorial tattoo, the second and third were 'fixes' (one being a very terribly done attempted cover up by an amateur artist, that Jen turned into a work of art that I am proud to show off every where I go!!) The fourth was from one of her flash sheets a wicked cupcake with actual pearls around the liner (no not literal pearls, but the coloring done on them make them look just like a real pearl) and my newest and favorite my Barbie pin up girl!! I told her a couple minors details, sexy yet sophisticated, blonde and pink hair, with either a dress or jeans and a crop top. So I posted this review on their facebook page, but they got hot and bothered and blocked me because I gave them one star. Now nobody can see my review. Because I guess that's the level of professionalism we're dealing with here, (First red flag alert!!!) But can't delete google reviews haha. Went in like a month and a half ago, for a tiny tattoo, and a tattoo of my mother's handwriting as a memorial. Big mistake. Had to go back again a less than 2 weeks ago just to get a small heart on my wrist touched up, because it was so blotchy you couldn't even tell what it was. After the touch up it still wasn't up to par of what it should be, and now they want me to come in for a THIRD time, to "fix" a tattoo that should have been done right the first time. Now onto my mum's memorial tattoo. The line work is so messy and uneven that I dont even want it on my body anymore. I am ashamed that this is what I have to remember my mum by, this is a tattoo that was supposed to have so much meaning and love put into it.. All meaning of this tattoo is gone for me now. Even my dad teared up when he saw how bad it was done, and how it doesn't even look like her writing, take in, he hasn't showed emotion like that since she died 17 years ago. Now onto pricing, you would think that someone who is charging more than all the original artists would have amazing work compared to the artists that would have been working there for years, wouldn't you? Not at Rockstar. Not at all. And when you complain that's another story, and not a fun one. Long story short, I would warn everyone to stay far away from this place, seeing as this is the kind of service you get from "Hamilton's best tattoo shop, the name they have proudly given themselves. Will not return and I advise anyone who values their skin not to go here. Find someone who truly cares about the work they do, not a place where theyre only in it to make a quick dollar. Read Less

Nadia does my hair. She did an awesome job on the ombre colours I requested and she was a delightful person to talk to the whole 4 hrs I was there. Costs are very reasonable. She charged 150 for colour cut and style.Read Less

I had an appointment with kris the other day & it was awesome. She knew exactly what i was looking for and had no problem sketching a beautiful piece for me. I just need to go back for a rew finishing touches but im in love with it already. It was such a relaxing atmosphere and they really do make you feel at home there. I am beyond blown away with my experience with Rockstar! I went yesterday to see Jen to get two tattoos as well as my boyfriend getting his first tattoo. One of my tattoos, in my moms handwriting, turned out better than i could have ever imagined. It looks as if my mom hand wrote it on my arm in pen! I was recommended to get my hair done by Justine by one of her previous customers and I very much regret ever considering her. I looked at her previous work in pictures and saw that she had obtained the very colour I wanted previously on another person, so I decided that yes I would go with her. Unfortunately, Justine lied to me, first telling me she would be using high lift colours and then not using them. Then she told me later on after I had left with a colour I did not as...k for, that she knew the entire time I could not get the colour I wanted without pre-lightening, which, while I was in the salon she said I could as my hair was Virgin hair. After this, she proceeded to post edited pictures of my hair, lie to her boss saying we had a consultation before hand where I agreed to get my hair dyed without lightening and deny lying altogether. After posting a facebook post detailing my experience, she proceeded to lie more saying that I had recieved a full refund (which I did not). On top of all this, her boyfriend proceeded to post derogatory comments towards me. The colour proceeded to fade from an orangish tint in my hair (I wanted a vibrant orange, I had brown hair) back to the original colour in about a week and a half without it ever even being washed.
