I got my first tattoo today (April 6, 2018) by Andi. She did an amazing job in capturing the colour of my cats in a cartoony way. I highly recommend her, and will definitely go back again! Update: 4 days or so after my experience, I booked my second tattoo. I gave Andi basically free rein over what it looked like. While I had to wait 3 months (July 14, 2018) it was worth the wait. I got an absolutely beautiful and unique work of art. I can guarantee that I will never be going to any other shop or set of artists. Kryptonian Ink is outstanding...they make you feel so comfortable,, every time I'm there they offer water, coffee and will go get you something to eat. All the people that work there are friendly and funny. The place is so clean and everyone is extremely knowledgeable,, they show and explain all aspects of before during and after care. Andi Is awesome her artwork is spectacular ,,,i will be seeing her again after my newest piece of art heals...shes going to fix one I had done elsewhere... I am looking into booking my next tattoo here and realized as I looked through the reviews - my original review never posted! My first experience at this location was amazing for many reasons! I was tattooed by Stephen. He was extremely kind and clearly passionate about his work! When I had tattoos done before, I was quite nervous, didn't want to look and at times found it quite painful. At Kryptonian Ink, this was not the case! I actually found it interesting and enjoyable to watch the tattoo be done (on the inside of my forearm) and Stephen was encouraging of this, though very supportive of my nerves and let me go at my own pace! This tattoo although the more intricate of all of the ones I have, felt the least painful. I think this was attributed to the comfort, professional skill and resources at the studio. I went to Kryptonian Ink for my first tattoo on the advice of my daughter who has had 2 done there. It was absolutely the right choice. From start to finish it was an amazing experience. The studio was very clean and organized. The separate rooms and the wonderful people make it very welcoming. Andi did an awesome job on my tattoo . I am absolutely ecstatic with how it turned out. Steven , the owner, and Andi made sure I was comfortable (water and coffee were offered several times) and provided all the information I required for aftercare. Got my first ever tattoo at Kryptonian Ink and I surely won't ever go anywhere else. From the moment I walked in the door, the staff was approachable, friendly, and helpful. They explained everything they were doing because it was my first tattoo and made the experience a great one! They kept offering coffee/tea/water and were doing everything to make me feel comfortable. As for the tattoo itself, I came in with a really simple concept, and Stephen turned it into an amazing piece of art. He is truly an amazing artist, as are all the tattoo artists at the shop. This place is top notch. The owner is running a 5 star shop. The staff is excellent and very knowledgeable. The shop is exceptionally clean and well organized. I think that this is the best place to get a tattoo not just in Hamilton but the surrounding area. I have been to many tattoo parlours but will only go to this one from now on. Incredible experience, just like everyone else has said. I've had two tattoos done by Andi in the past 6 months and literally could not be happier. She was amazing to work with from start to finish. We had plenty of communication to ensure she knew what I wanted and she explained every step to me. They definitely create a family atmosphere where everyone works together. I was blown away with their aftercare too. We communicated every day until the bandage wast to come off to make sure it was healing properly and I wouldn't hesitate to contact them if I had any concerns. Everyone there is kind, welcoming, flexible, creative, and, of course, unbelievably talented. I got exactly what I wanted and then some. I would recommend them to anyone!! Read Less

Loved my experience here! I was super nervous as it was my first tat and Andy was so calming, reassuring and did an amazing job on my tribute tattoo. Not only is she a perfectionist, but explained every step, from prepping to proper cleanliness and sterility of equipment and the room. Everyone is super chill, down to earth and like a family here. Andy asked for her manager, Stephen's feedback with the placement of my stencil and perfected it 3 times before she was happy. They offer tea, coffee, water, make you feel at home, and they don't just send you out when you're done. Excellent with after-care and they monitored my healing for a week post-tat. This shop is fantastic. From the first time you walk into the shop to the time you finish. Stephen, Dita and Andi make you feel comfortable. You can also tell when walking into the front door how cleanliness is very important to them, which makes me feel comfortable knowing that they take every precaution to ensure that the equipment they use is sterile. Andi did my tattoo. She did my son's tattoo and I was so impressed by the job she did with his tattoo that I decided to have her do mine. I am glad I did as she did a fantastic job on my butterfly with a drop shadow. They ensure that the tattoo is coming along the way it should as they have you text a picture of it every day. I am not sure whether I am stopped from getting another tattoo but I do know that if I decide to get another one then I will most definitely go back and have Andi do that one too. Steve, Andi and the staff were amazing. Impeccably clean and the staff were extremely conscientious with all safety protocols. They are knowledgeable, friendly and go out of their way to make you comfortable and give you a pleasant experience. They even made sure my parking meter was topped up! After care is vital and they will go to great lengths to make sure your tattoo stays healthy as it heals. I've never had an experience like it and will absolutely be back! On Saturday, I had the most amazing experience at this shop. I don't even know where to begin really..... 1. I was accommodated with the last minute changes I made to my tattoo (it was a lot of extra work for Stephen- but NEVER did he complain about having to redo it or make me feel like I was a bother) 2. This is the cleanest environment: I was shown everything from top to bottom of what measures they take to protect themselves and the public from cross contamination. 3. Best Owners- I spent a total of almost 12 hours with the owners and staff on Saturday. During this time I was fully accommodated (pop, snacks, lunch etc) these are things that just DO NOT happen anywhere! I was made to feel completely at home and comfortable- I really appreciated this. 4. Professionalism: simply can't get anymore professional. When you are working with areas of your body that are exposed, it can be naturally uncomfortable. The level of professionalism that Stephen and staff demonstrated I was extremely thankful for. 5. Truly Talented- incredible artists and pays attention to EVERY detail. From natural body movement, placement, right sizing your personality, etc. Just amazing.... I got my children's names tattooed on my right forearm by Andi 2 weeks ago today! It has healed perfectly and looks absolutely crisp and amazing. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. They take their time and take pride in their extremely thourough sterilization process, which I am thankful for as a client. This tattoo is miles beyond any of my others quality-wise. The script is beautiful and the colouring is bright. I am beyond happy with my experience and plan to go back many, many more times! The wait to get in may be a long one but it is totally worth it. Fantastic studio! I had work done by Andi and was very happy with the patience and time she put into something as simple as black script. I also got to see Steve and Dita work while I was there and was also amazed by their work. The owner, Steve, made everyone very comfortable and relaxed in his business. I was a little on edge at first but Steve immediately picked up on this and worked with me to put me at ease and got everything on the right path for an awesome experience. Andi perfectly explained every step of the process. This included explaining how and why each piece of equipment was sterilized and how it was going to be used. They went to far as to offer to let me see the bottle of sterilizing solution they used on the ink pots! Every step of the way I was impressed with their professionalism and service. At the end of the work customers are asked to visit Steve to have him review the job to make sure it meets his standards! I'm in the follow up days right now and I've been asked to text a picture of the tattoo to Steve each day to make sure the healing process is coming along properly and safely.
