So I was supposed to have some ink done Saturday 29th of July by Tamara. I came in on the Friday to speak with her, emailed her my idea and she was super stoked to do it and was able to do it in the time frame that I wanted. Saturday mid day some other dude called my cell and left me a voicemail where he asked that I come in for 4pm, he told me that Tamara was still working on her other client. That's fair, I figured she was running behind or the client before me showed up ...late so no big deal. When I showed up, she just wasn't there. The dude who called me was doing my tattoo and also said that "he doesn't do colour" so I wouldn't be getting the whole tattoo that I wanted done. I reckon what I wanted was maybe a 3 hour job and didn't see the issue..... If I knew that Tamara was otherwise unavailable I would have just rebooked with her the next time Im down from Petawawa. I had a really good impression about her and was stoked that she was excited to do my piece; actually it is my 2 year old daughters piece that she wants done on me. I was willing to wait the time to get THE piece, especially for my little lady. I feel like I was mislead pretty bad and that's why I fucked off the appointment; I fucked off the appointment because I was drastically fucked off. I'm sure your shop puts out top notch work, a friend of mine who has work from Jim told me to check out Apocalyptic, I liked what I saw on the website and I thought my time frame would not have been accommodated but I was lead to believe otherwise. However, with respect I won't be back. This is brutal what happened. I'm out $20.00 on what Tamara took for a deposit... no big deal. I'm disappointed that the wool was pulled over my eyes and I'm actually pretty mad that my daughter was let down when I came back to grandma's with no rocking horse tattoo with her name. I'm very disappointed with my experience. Whatever the problem is needs to be solved before it happens again to someone who may not take it as a grain of salt as I have. Jim and his staff are courteous, friendly and professional. When I arrived at my appointment my stencil was ready to go, I didn't wait longer than 10 minutes before I was in the chair! The Studio is clean and well-kept, I was offered refreshments several times. My ink came out excellent! It was exactly what I asked for and it was a fair price! This was my first tattoo and I have to say, Jim was absolutely great. I absolutely love the tattoo that he did for me. I gave him a picture of what I wanted and somehow it made it look even better than the picture!! Added a personal touch to it and it turned out fantastic!!
