After losing my dad 17 years ago I knew I wanted an original tattoo to honor him. It took me 17 years of researching and thinking of ideas of what I wanted and to find the right artist. When I saw Chris's work I knew he was the one that could do it . I had my consultation with Chris and told him my story and the specific ideas I had. Well... He nailed it! When I went back to get my tattoo and he showed me the stencil I couldn't even talk! Bawled like a baby. It was exactly w...hat I had envisioned. I was dumbfounded by his ability to get it perfect. I was there 7 hours that day...(and that was last week)and still have one more appointment till its finished (i go back in another month)�It already looks amazing and I have had so so so many compliments and people stopping me to ask who did it. I came in last week and had Daniel Armitage do a beautiful piece on my inner bicep of my sisters name, I couldnt be more pleased with the result! My sister loved it as did everyone else. I came in as a complete newbie for my consultation. I had done my research and found Chris's work and knew he would be perfect for what I wanted to have done despite being a few hours away. I contacted them on Facebook and had a deposit in since the end of summer 2015. They were excellent with working with me in me having to push the initial consultation and tattoo appointment further as I had some health concerns that needed to be settled to make sure all would be well an...d I ended up having a consult last week with Chris. He listened well and understood my nervousness, he told me what could work and what wouldn't and explained why - it didn't feel like a "I just don't wanna do this" sort of thing, you could tell that he genuinely cared about how it would turn out and we worked out a design concept. Fast forward a week to yesterday, I was terrified, but he was very reassuring (and let me borrow a stress ball LOL) and it turns out I really have a higher tolerance for pain that I thought! And the parts that did hurt, were made a little better as he would be singing along to the awesome music they play so it would distract me, which was nice. We breezed through it in just under 4 hours and now I have a stellar tattoo half sleeve and now can understand the addiction to want more. Oh, and Erin is a sweetheart! This place is awesome! Clean, respectful, friendly and accommodating. Most of all, you can tell all of the artists love what they do and take pride in their work. I just had a piece done by Daniel and he far exceeded my expectations based on the very basic info I gave him. His excitement to do the piece was also touching. I came into the shop last Wednesday (03/08) for a consultation and met with Dillon. As a "tattoo virgin" he was very easy to talk to and I was quickly put at ease. We discussed my design and also went through a few examples of what I was looking for. His portfolio and work is impressive so I decided to place a deposit for my booking that same evening; I was even lucky enough to snag a cancellation appointment for the very next week. My tattoo was completed yesterday afternoon and I couldn't be happier, I absolutely love it! Even though it was a relatively small design, Dillon took his time with me and even accommodated some changes I wanted to make. I ended up choosing Dillon as my artist to do a full sleeve on my arm and I can tell you I couldn't be more impressed with his work as well as the other artists....just overall an amazing place and amazing people!!! I gave Dillon total freedom and I didn't see the final drawing until it was time for my first sitting and well I had 6.5 total sittings and the final outcome blew my expectations out of the water....this is def the place to go if you are looking for amazing ink and some good conversations!!!! I came in to see Dillon to discuss an idea of the tattoo I wanted, and brought some crappy pictures of the "idea" I had in my mind with me. We discussed my concept and I mentioned how much I admired Boris Vallejo's work and how I would love that artwork to be part of my final design.... So pleased that he was familiar with his work and knew right there and then that he was the right man for the job! I was amazed at the final drawing he sent me, it was stunning! I asked for... a small change, which he accommodated for me and sat for part 1 of my tattoo yesterday. I am so pleased with the results, and love it so much. I can't wait to finish it and see the final result of the work. My interaction with the shop was also a great experience. The staff was friendly enough but I had a sub par experience. The receptionist ignored me when I walked in and when someone else walked in she said hi to them right away and asked what she could help them with. Didn't get a consult like I was supposed to because they "don't do them for short text". The artist (Kevin) was nice too but didn't really do what I asked. I wanted the letters smaller and he made some of them a bit bigger and unproportionate. I still love it because it's mine and means something to me but if I could go back in time and redo it I would. Wouldn't recommend. :/ sorry. Update: now that it's healed I can see he did the wording patchy and i DID NOT scratch the tattoo at all. Some of the letters have more pressure applied than others so they aren't that clear and have some blank spots on them. Now that I've looked at it clearly I can see that the tattoo is 100% crooked. Very unimpressed. Will have to get a coverup someday or get it removed. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE FOR LETTERING! Read Less

Excellent experience at No Love Lost. This will be the only place I go to get tattoos from here on. Dillion Leask did an amazing job on a large intricate colour piece that I'm absolutely thrilled with. This isn't your average tattoo parlour, the artists are extremely knowledgable and as well their organic tattoo lotions make healing a quick process and your skin feel and look amazing. 10/10! No Love Lost was doing a fundraiser for a dog rescue group that I do transport for (any animal themed tat done in the month of January, they donated 10% of the cost of the tat to Save Our Scruff!). I PM'd them and arranged to stop by and check out their facilities and leave a deposit, and managed to book a tat on the last day of the fundraiser--they were extremely accommodating and very professional. I was late for my actual appointment--they knew that was a possibility--but they "made it work." The tat itself is perfect, and the artist, Kevin, does amazing work. The studio itself is clean, well kept and pleasing to visit. The only negative thing I have to say is that they are a *little* pricey, but as I haven't gotten a tat in a few years, they may be in line with the going rate nowadays; plus, as a tat is something I will have forever, I don't mind paying for quality work. Although it is a bit of a drive for me (I live in Toronto), I will most definitely be back for my next tat!! Read Less
