Normally I'm not one to write a bad review or bad mouth anyone but in this circumstance and the fact that what you are getting is permanent and the lack of support I received when I voiced my concerns I feel that one is necessary. The whole experience from start to finish was not ideal , and it should've been red flags for me which is my own fault . First of all I went in for a consult she measured my arm and told me before my appointment she would draw something up from the ...images I provided and send it to me for review, that never happened . A few days before my appointment I got a msg asking when my appointment was she had misplaced the time fine kind of unprofessional . I get to the shop and nothing was drawn up so I waited 45 minutes for that which I was charged for . The tattoo was five what was supposed to be dainty constellations with flowers and vines which was not at all what I got ( if anyone would like to see pictures trust me I have many) I also got a small fish hook and two arrows . The tattoo was executed so poorly that lines are thicker than others some lines aren't there at all the flowers look like a juvenile drew them again some had no colour and the lines didn't connect. The scarring was so bad that It took several months to heal and it even blistered in some places. The fish hook was done so deeply that when it scabbed the scab was flush with my skin it was like it had been dug out . The flowers were not shaded no dots no extra anything , not what I asked for at all. When I expressed my concerns I did yes get a msg saying she could fix it but at that point I was so upset and scared that I was not comfortable with that option. It was a big risk for me to get hand tattoos and they were so poorly done that I cried for days, I was so upset and because it was scarred so badly I had to wait four months to get them fixed . I ended up being charged $340 for a tattoo that should've taken an hour an a half tops not to mention than had to go pay someone else to fix it, so for a small tattoo that by other artists word shouldn't have cost more than $200 is now at $510 !!!!!! Im really bad at remembering to do reviews so this is several months after i got my tatoo around the end of may. I have to say the whole process in getting my tattoo was extraordinary, the place was clean not to mention she is very talented and professional. Apart from being a sterile and warm setting to have a tattoo, Zilah is a very professional. Actually she is INCREDIBLE. It was my first Tattoo and Zilah was patient and helped me through it. The end result was an Awesome Tattoo that my family has been gushing about ever since I came home. I have been to a couple other Tattoo places and Living Canvas is bright, clean and professional which is VERY different to the other places I have scouted. My Tattoo is unbelievable!
