Amazing experience getting my first tattoo. Not knowing what to expect when i got there the shop was very clean with great art work and oddities all around the shop. Jamie is a great artist and super friendly. He made my first time getting tattooed very enjoyable and blew my expectations away taking my idea and making it his own. Very informative on the caring of my new tattoo and answered all questions i had. Extremely happy with my tattoo and I am now addicted! Would deffinetly recommend his shop. Where to begin... I spent about a year doing my homework and research on the right artist to do this cover-up job. I drove 500km just to meet Jamie and place my deposit and was absolutely amazed. The shop is immaculately clean. Like, hospital grade clean. Within minutes of meeting Jamie and talking about this job I knew this was the guy for this piece. I saw his work online and his trophy case at his shop. You will never be dissatisfied with the work. He's very friendly and a... great guy to hangout with while he's working. Both my sessions flew by because of the great conversation. He makes you feel comfortable and at home. His shop is full of super interesting displays. Hes equiped with multiple tv's and lets you watch whatever you want! His apprentice Shane is a cool guy too. They are worth the money money and the wait. The best way to explain how awesome Sacred Temple is, would be to understand that this cool as shit place, is in the middle of a very rural community, but it's always booked from people just not in the province, but across the country and the States as well. These guys are humble, true to their community and incredibally giving in how they raise money for sick children. They may look tough as hell but don't believe that hype....hahaha. Jamie did my very first ink a number of years ago. I did a lot of research for this first project and could not have been happier with the results, with Jamie who i consider a friend now, and the professionalism and cleanliness of sacred Temple. I've had Jamie do an additional six (seven in total) pieces on me and have been extremely happy with every one of them. Time flies by while you are in the chair and i look forward to my next appointment each time. I also had work done... at Sacred Temple by guest tattooer Kevin Ward from Montreal that was another great day. Plenty of laughs, great conversations and perfect work. I friend accompanied me on one trip to Sacred Temple and had Shane do his (my friends) first tattoo to which lots of time was put into making the perfect project for him and again the quality of the work was fantastic. I absolutely love the shop. You walk in to an amazing décor of fascinating oddities. The first thing you'll notice is how clean the shop is. Once your done checking out all the random things in the waiting room, Your eye will be drawn to all the awards that Jamie has won over the years, which makes you feel like your in good hands. Jamie always takes the time to greet everyone as they walk in, which makes you feel like your meeting up with an old friend. Both artist do ...exceptional work. Jamie has done a few tattoos for me, he's super professional, his station is very clean. Takes the time to help you find the perfect size and placement of your tattoo. Everything is opened right infront of you. He is such a light handed tattoo artist it's unreal. He always takes the time to make sure your doing ok and comfortable.
