Wow. The guys at this shop are great - friendly, professional, and quick. My friend and I walked in with an idea and a google image, and we walked out with actual artwork on our arms. My tattoo looks way better than I ever could have imagined. The tattoos look fantastic - almost untattoo-like. It's as if someone stuck a colorful cheeseburger sticker on my arm and I love it. It's my first colour tattoo and WHEN I decide to get a new one I know where I'm going to get it done. Aftercare instructions were thorough and clear. Same-day service is great. Prices are high. Don’t go if you want quick and cheap. Don’t even bother trying to talk them down The artist is quick, professional and clearly both talented and passionate for the work he does. Absolutely lovely tattoo I had done as a memorial piece for my late grandfather. Charles is wonderfully professional and level headed, and Scott kept my boyfriend company during the 2.5 hours I was getting tattooed. I went to Bedford tattoo for my first tattoo. The location was great (overlooking a river) and the atmosphere was very comfortable. The manager was extremely friendly and was very welcoming. I had consultations at a couple of studios before settling on Bedford Tattoo. I wanted the art piece done on my hand, with fine details, and not every person who tattoo's can do fine work. Charles was very professional and clearly has high standards regarding the equipment he uses, as well as extensive experience about the "little things" that will help the finished piece look good for years to come. I also liked that they have a private room for tattooing - not everyone does. Mostly, I loved how passionate they are about tattooing... Charles is a true artist! I didn't feel like just another person who walked through the door - I felt like they cared about what I wanted - it was important to them too. Charles is one of the best artists ive ever had a tattoo by, most comfortable tattoo table and the manager is great for reading people and understanding what they want to achieve with clients specific designs/ idea concepts. Consultations are free. Walk-ins only. If you want to talk prices and hourly rates, it is very highly recommended to just walk in and talk about the artist's work and time, over calling to discuss these things. I have never had such a great experience with such a talented artist before! Charles truly knows what he is doing, and does his absolute best to get you exactly what you want in your mind. Exploring Nova Scotia has been quite the experience. Being here from New Jersey on our honeymoon, my husband from USA and I a Canadian, we couldn't leave without getting these amazing tattoos. After doing some homework, we found Scott and Charles. We had a great experience meeting these two men.  They went through everything very clearly with us to set our minds at ease and made us feel very comfortable. Best parking! Awesome job on the tattoo. I just walked in, everyone was super nice and helpful. I got coached on the dos and don't of first time tattoo (no watercolor xD) during consultation. Charles and Scott and super personable and friendly guys. Scott was really great to talk to over the phone and explained things as clear as a bell. Once in the shop I explained my idea of a tattoo to them, we collaborated on ideas and Charles then created a custom design that matched my vision perfectly. The location is fantastic, and their prices are very fair. Charles also explains the processes that will be taken, and makes sure to open all the serial equipment in front of you. Definitely a 5 star rating all around. Plus, check out their Instagram page, they post all their work. It's really amazing. Real artists tattooing real pieces of art. I have also received a follow-up message from Charles, checking in to see if I had any questions regarding follow-up care etc. I was made to feel extremely comfortable to ask any questions I may have. Charles and Scott made me feel extremely comfortable and as though I was in great hands. The shop is as sanitary as can be, and being told the sanitary steps taken made my first tattoo a great experience. The mixture of Scott's stories, wisdom, and humour, and Charles amazing technique, and refreshing humbleness, was exactly what I needed to feel comfortable. My husband and I went in on a whim, mostly because of the super convenient hours and location. There's tons of parking and it's a beautiful spot. Charles and Scott are extremely professional in presentation and manner, in a way that's rare to see in a tattoo parlour. I had a vague idea of what I wanted to get done and Charles took my idea and worked with my existing tattoo to make a beautiful piece that I plan on adding on to in the future. He's very focused when tattooing and has a no talking policy (you can talk, just preferably not to him) when working to make sure every minute you're paying for is dedicated to the work he's doing. My husband had no intention of getting any work done, but after talking to Charles for a few minutes and seeing a quick sketch of an idea he had, he decided to take the plunge and is happy he did.
