Deb - the owner - is an amazing woman. She has a love of the unusual and a creative eye for piercing placment. When I got my Diath piercing she recommended that I only get the piercing in one ear because the other ear didn't have the cartilage to support the piercing. THAT is the kind of advice I want to get from a person who's about to shove metal into my head. :-) The tattoo artists at this location have a good base of education, and this is apparent in the three tattoos that I have received at this location. Great owner. Good shop. The only two artists I knew from there aren't there anymore but the owner does piercings and she does a good job at it very friendly.

The artist I was trying to do business with made the entire thing very negative. Not once or twice but 3 times he just flat out said no to doing what I wanted done. I paid a deposit for something and...
The artist I was trying to do business with made the entire thing very negative. Not once or twice but 3 times he just flat out said no to doing what I wanted done. I paid a deposit for something and got a drawing that was good but wasn't what I had sent him to begin with. When asked about adding an additional tattoo I sent him it again and he just replied nope and then became confrontational with me. This particular artist has a track record of fighting and arguing with his clients and was trying to tell me what he is going to put on my body? When it's me who's paying for it? Not a chance.

Super unprofessional, tattoo artist didn't even show up to my tattoo and instead got another random I didn't know to do it, didn't get a call or anything letting me know. Tattoo ended up very sloppy and I am very unhappy with it and looking into laser removal. I wish there was an option for 0 stars for this place is horrible I do not recommend it to anyone

The most important things to consider when choosing a tattoo shop is to get familiar with your artist's work, strengths and abilities and make sure you are comfortable in their tattoo shop. Â With double digit tattoos on my body and plenty of real estate left, River City Ink and Steel has become my go to tattoo shop and has done half of my tattoos, and counting... Â I appreciate their friendly and professional atmosphere and their artists are incredibly talented. Â Located on trendy Corydon Avenue, this shop is where I head to when I need a "spa day". Â Nothing like a new addition to my art collection to pick yourself up. Â Â Clean, professional and incredibly talented bunch of folks at this shop. Â Why go anywhere else?

Deb - the owner - is an amazing woman. She has a love of the unusual and a creative eye for piercing placment. The artist I was trying to do business with made the entire thing very negative. Not once or twice but 3 times he just flat out said no to doing what I wanted done. I paid a deposit for something and got a drawing that was good but wasn't what I had sent him to begin with.
