Got a tattoo from this place just over 2 years ago now. It was very muddy looking from the start, but at the time decided to let it heal to see if it would look better. Hasn’t gotten any sun, and every time I look at it I feel embarrassed. $300 down the drain. Never went back cause I’m from out of province not that you could do much to help it. I got my nose pierced here at 15, I’m now 17 and i’m still having nothing but problems with it. It bleeds, I have an extremely hard time changing the jewelry because of how much it hurts and how low/crooked it is pierced. I should have known this was a bad place when I was the only client there both times I went (1st time to get Pierced, 2nd time to change jewelry) If you want a high quality piercing, don’t go to this low quality place. Definitely getting it re-done somewhere better when I’m 18. Read Less

No idea where some of these positive reviews are coming from, maybe the friends or family of the owner? My experience was awful. It was dirty in the shop and the staff were incredibly rude and dismissive. Don't expect any customer service. I've had piercings done at a bunch of different places and this one was by far the most painful and unprofessionally done. Read Less

I got a tattoo by Tristan recently and I am so happy with it. He is incredibly talented, knowledgeable and easy to work with. He answered all of my questions patiently and calmly even though I was very nervous, and gave me a beautiful tattoo. I would definitely recommend this shop and Tristan. Read Less

Bought my daughter two gift certificates one from last Christmas and one from this Christmas wouldn't honour first one for 200 said to was too old !! Second one was for 175 asked for my money back and he gave me 180 back !!so paid 180 got nothing !!! Great place if you want to get ripped off !!! Read Less

I am a 65 year young at heart woman. My daughter, granddaughter and I came into the Phase II shop on Portage and we were greeted by Pat who was very friendly and personable. I explained to him that we are three generations would like to have the same tattoo to celebrate our lives. He was very accommodating and helpful with our design ideas. This was my granddaughters 10th tattoo done by Phase II, my son has had three done there; this was my first. My daughter has four. They came highly recommended by my kids and grand kids. Dean our tattoo artist was awesome !! He is a great artist, gentle and very calming. The experience was great! My husband and I went in to see an artiest, who has since quit, and regretted it within minutes. The store reeks or cigarette smoke. Why, do you ask? Because the owner smokes in the store. Not only was he smoking while we were in there but he decided my consultation was taking too long and told the artiest she wasn't allowed to do it. My husband still got his tattoo. The artiest took him downstairs to the tattoo rooms and while she was working they heard a dog bark. She told him that the owner was living at the shop and kept the dog there too. Meanwhile I couldn't stay in the shop while he was smoking in it so I had to leave and wait for my husband down the street at Subway. Read Less
