My daughter went for a nose piercing and first she emailed to find out price and apparently there was some deal on, that included the hardware, but I guess the guy that pierced her never said anything about price. When it came time to pay it came to 92 $, she was quoted 39 $ in the email. I had to go get more money and when I came back he had gone up to 97. Seems a little fishy to me. Since there was no prices anywhere it's hard to tell where the cost came from. I would never recommend this place. The only good thing was they were very thorough in cleanliness. Read Less

First time getting pierced, can honestly say it was a great experience! I was definitely nervous, but Iain helped with that quite a bit. The entire store was very clean, the procedure room I was in had a small medical autoclave in which everything that wasn't already in sterile packaging was sterilized right there before use. Wouldn't go anywhere else for piercings! A friend and I have gone for 4 piercings each within the past few months and Alyssa and Iain go above and beyond. Incredibly knowledgeable, they set aside lots of time to select from their high quality jewellery and they fully explain every step in the process while making you feel extremely comfortable. Piercing prices are reasonable and one of the only places in the city to sell such high grade pieces. I've always had problems healing piercings and have not had any issues with any of mine from here. They accept walk ins and appointments, cash only. Iron Lotus is the best, end of story. Read Less

I can't recommend this place enough. Love Chantal's work, she's tattooed multiple family members as well as myself. Had great service with piercer for changed jewelry as well. Don't go to Aarom. Worst tattoo experience of my life. I finally read some reviews about him and instead of just looking to see if he does good work saw all the comments about how rude he is and how uncomfortable people felt around him. I can now see why. I waited 3 months for my tattoo only for him to hate his own design and take it out on me. Go to Chantal if you choose to go here she's amazing at what she does and is friendly. I've gone to iron lotus for some of my tattoos and always had a good experience, however today I went in for a half sleeve with aarom that had been booked for 3 months and it went horrible. Real quick lets go back to the consultation, I told him what I wanted and he told me he would draw it up the same day I came in for my tattoo because he's just so amazing at flowers. I said fair enough I trust you. So I come in today insanely excited for my tattoo I bought him cupcakes and everything! I came into shop and he sat there all grumpy eyed and asked if he was tattooing me so I said yes.. He didn't smile once the entire time I was in shop unless he was talking to another employee. He asked again what I was getting and I told him my sister's and mom's favorite flowers with an armor idea to it. He practically laughed in my face that I was getting flowers and it was a typical tattoo and that there are other things I could get aside from flowers and then he told me i was stealing people's ideas even though I did my best to make it my own. He ended up drawing something up that was quick and he wasnt excited about.. maybe instead of having a 30 second consultation with me he could have seen what i actually wanted and took the time to figure out what we had to work with. He was rude, unfriendly and made me cry before I left. He didn't make me feel excited like all other artists and pierces were doing with there customers. And i felt insanely left out and uncomfortable. I have never had a bad tattoo experience especially with such a professional shop. Read Less

The most amazing tattoo experience ever! I just got my first tattoo from Jasmine and when I first walked in she started going over the design and helped me move the design around to make it where I wanted it to be. It was super clean in the room and she was so gentle in the actual tattoo process� she tried to wipe the ink as gently as she could, and she made all my anxiety about getting a tattoo disappear. My tattoo turned out incredible, super detailed with perfect lines and EXACTLY what I had wished for, if not better! I don't know if I'd ever go see another tattoo artist, her art is so amazing and she made the whole experience so perfect, I already have another appointment next month! 11/10 reccommend her to anyone who's getting a first tattoo, or wants a beautiful tattoo done by a wonderful artist. Did a walk in on Sunday and got a watercolor done by a man here named Tyler. He did an amazing job, clearly lots of passion goes into his work. yesterday i got my first tattoo at iron lotus and it was done by jasmine! <3 ok, so i am so terrified of needles but i've thought from such a young age that tattoos are so gorgeous because it's art and expression permanently placed on a person's body, and i was so nervous yet so excited to start placing things on my body yesterday. during the entire appointment, she was super particular about how she did things and gave me the best first experience ever, i was never worried for a second- neither was my grandmother who sat and watched. i will most definitely be returning to iron lotus to see jasmine with future tattoo ideas, thank you again so much jasmine! <3 <3 Read Less
