Be aware you may pay your deposit and not get what you paid for.
I had a consult with Jessica and put a deposit down to get a sketch of my idea for a tattoo. Not only was she late to my second appointment to show me a sketch she had a computer print of a few cut and paste images and no sketch. And said she didn't feel my idea would work and suggested a tattoo that a friend was coincidentally getting from her in a few days (sorry but I don't want the same tattoo as my friend). We agreed that if she didn't feel it I could come back with another idea... I did a few days later and then her books were closed! Not only did I not get my deposit back but promises of calls when her books became open again have yet to come!!! This has been since her shop opened. Super bummed because she is an AMAZING artist but feeling a little bitter about the treatment.

I just want to say I’ve been seeing Jess since she first started up doing tattoos all those years ago( sorry jess wasn’t an old crack...lol)
But she has completed both sleeves chest and back pieces I have I’m still just as happy today as I was when I first got them.. jess takes the time to involve herself in the art and has no problem politely saying if it going to wok or not.. jess takes pride in what she does and it shows in the art she produces.. she always has great conversations while she working you and makes you feel right at home... jess is one of this ppl that you’ll meet and feel like you’ve known them forever... jess insists on absolute cleanliness and makes sure you understand the process from start to finish... now if you ask me I don’t think you can ask for more when your considering a permanent piece of art ... I would highly recommend gypsy cat too anyone who is considering having some work done!!!

When I walked in the staff were very chill and greeted me nicely. They have coffee, water and ice tea mix ( not offered at other places I’ve got work at). I couldn’t remember the artists name but they found it quickly. I like the set up and it was very clean (even the washroom). Has a homely feel too it.
***Note - Bring cash with you if you are paying cash do not try pulling out cash from the store attached to the strip mall. The owner said their machine is always out of money. I am guessing everyone getting tattoos drains the ATM.***
The new guy on the block around there Shawn (hope i spelled it right) did a script piece on my calf. He did a awesome 👏 job on it. The colouring is great, placement and the lines are straight. The shading turned out really well.
He was a very personable and outgoing guy. He has some fun religious views!;) all in all he was a chill guy and he worked hard on it after a slowish set up (in the end didn’t charge me extra for set up which I thought that was totally solid).
During the tattoo a couple of artist
I already booked my next appointment with him. I think I may become a main stay with Gypsy tattoo and Shawn as the artist! Thanks for the great work man.

Just got a tattoo done here and can say I am 100% happy. Sean did an amazing job, clean work & listened to what I wanted and any concerns I had. I usually go to a different shop but decided to try out Gyspy Cat since I’ve heard really good things. I’ll definitely be coming here from now on! Everyone working here had great attitudes and were very friendly.

I got my septum pierced somewhere else and I was very happy with it except the location was not close for me and they had a no kid policy for me to return to change it (I didn't like my jewelry choice...
I got my septum pierced somewhere else and I was very happy with it except the location was not close for me and they had a no kid policy for me to return to change it (I didn't like my jewelry choice for my initial piercing). I came to Gypsy Cat today and was able to bring my daughter in her stroller (luckily she was asleep) Morgan changed my jewelry, she was quick, very professional, very clean and super friendly. I will definitely return because they have a wide variety of jewelry choices at a very decent price.

Went there to get my nose pierced today! Morgan was absolutely wonderful, I’m prone to fainting and she took the time to let me calm down and gave me juice to help get my sugars back up. She didn’t make me feel rushed or embarrassed. She talked me through the whole process and was very nice. I will definitely be going back for more piercings. I would also love to meet their artists and book with them in the future for tattoos. Overall very clean and well run established. I will surely be back.

I love this shop and the people that work there. Morgan is very gentle as gentle as she can be with piercing lol. My kids will never go see anyone for their piercings other then Morgan. I am shocked how this shop has turned around from what It was before with the previous owner. It smells so clean and you have to take your shoes off to keep it clean. I hope to see Jess at some time for some work.

Professional from the consult straight through to the end. It's clean and everything was sterile. Scotty did my tattoo. He's a great guy, full of energy and super friendly. He explained each step of the process and was patient with my questions (it's my first tattoo). I'm so pleased with how it turned out! Absolutely love it and I would recommend Gypsy Cat and especially Scotty to anyone.

So many things I love about Gypsy Cat that is lacking in other Tattoo parlours in Winnipeg. Staff is friendly, helpful, and non judgemental the second you walk in the door. They take debit!!!! No more running to the nearest ATM for cash, or a store for change.

After doing a lot of research, my sister and I both got daith piercings done by Morgan. The piercings look fantastic, the staff were all friendly and professional, and it was clear that cleanliness, safety, and hygiene are all top priorities at Gypsy Cat. In addition, Morgan took the time to explain the process and what to expect as it heals to ensure that the piercing heals properly so I feel confident that this piercing will continue to be amazing!

I've followed Morgan across several shops now, and I continue to be more impressed by each shop I follow her to. She's pierced me upwards of 20 times now, and I've never had an issue with any of her work. The shop is very clean, there's a great selection of jewelry, and all of the staff is incredibly professional. I also got my first tattoo done by Jessica this past week, it was as great of an experience as a tattoo on your diaphragm could possibly be! It looks great, the aftercare process was well explained, and she was super accommodating in moving and re-placing the stencil, making slight changes to the tattoo, and working with my colour scheme (my colour choice was "all of them"). Fantastic experience every time!

No matter where Morgan goes, I follow. I won't go anywhere else for my piercings. She's quick, she makes sure you're comfortable. Always wants the best for her clientele. And with Jessica, I've gotten two tattoos through her and loved my experience. Absolutely loved it. Especially when she did my first tattoo. The studio is clean, the staff are professional, I had nothing but a wonderful and satisfying experience and always recommend them to anyone who asks about my piercings or tattoos.

I had a consult with Jessica and put a deposit down to get a sketch of my idea for a tattoo. Not only was she late to my second appointment to show me a sketch she had a computer print of a few cut and paste images and no sketch. I am shocked how this shop has turned around from what It was before with the previous owner. It smells so clean and you have to take your shoes off to keep it clean.
