Got my tattoo last year and i love it. They took great care of me and i would definitely go back. Only downside was having to pay for parking, but it’s only $3 so honestly can’t complain. Great people in there, definitely going back to get more tattoos from this place ! Read Less

Although the owner Clint is a talented artist, his poor attitude ruined my tattoo experience.  He seem's to have forgotten that people coming in to get tattooed (some even from out of town like myself) are paying him good money to do a job - a job thats going to be permanantly reflected on my body for the rest of my life. His attitude comes accross as if he is doing me a favor by tattooing me. He treats his customer's as if they are a dime a dozen - regardless of how large or small the piece.  Multiple times while being tattooed by Clint, him and the other artists openly complained about customers. Weather it was about walk in customer's "stupid" questions, to Clint telling his receptionist to delay booking a customer in because (although he had open appointments) he doesnt like the women...or calling customer's irritating for whatever reason - it's unprofessional and as a customer, I shouldnt have to listen to you whine about other customers.  In any profession, thats not acceptable - but especially when im paying you $165/hour for your time. If you end up going to Clint to get tattooed, it will turn out beautiful BUT be prepared for very poor (non existant) customer service.  If youre OK with that - Clint is your man. Read Less

Fantastic place if your serious about your ink. Noah was my artist, talented beyond belief. The work far surpassed my expectations. Noah was extremely professional and easy going! I spoke with Noah told him what I wanted and asked him to go with his vision. That was the best part because artist can make things work and have an incredible eye for what would work. Just before I was to get inked I saw what he drew and was blown away! (I had a viewing appointment prior, I saw Noah's portfolio so I took the surprise!) I'm glad I did that because I feel it turned out far better then I could ever fathom. Would I recommend this place? Absolutely! Btw I was on a plane where I saw a couple with incredible ink, I asked them where they got it and that's how I learned about this place. So in the end I'm stoked, will be booking more appointments ASAP! Super stoked that I found this place. Also, all the staff I met were friendly polite and super awesome to deal with and the shop is incredibly clean! Floors gleaming, all tables are spotless. Loved it! Read Less

Sat in with Clint Danroth for nearly 7 hours as he banged out my Hanuman piece...5 stars is not a high enough rating for the quality of his work. Andrea did a great job on my tattoo, I admit I loved the end result. However, not the most pleasant person to deal with. She made me feel like I was being a huge pain when asked to alter the drawing...I'm not going to have something permanently tattooed on my body that I'm not 100% sure about & I was made to feel like I was being unreasonable. I emailed her afterward to ask about a small touch up and she completely ignored my email. I'm not sure if this was unique to me or if this shop makes a habit out of ripping off their customers, but be forewarned...You'll go and put a $100 deposit down, the artist will whip up something quick and carelessly, you'll provide direction, you'll leave and wait to hear from him, you'll hear from him the morning-of your tattoo via email with an attachment of the quick and careless draft he drew when you made the deposit, you'll say you don't want to have that ugly piece of art put on your body and ten you'll ask the shop manager for your deposit back, then finally they will tell you because the cancellation isn't within a 48 hour period that you've lost your deposit.  This is a dishonest group that I'm sure is doing the same to others. Don't work with this shop. There are so many other incredible and deserving artists and entrepreneurs in this city. Read Less

UPDATE July 2, 2016 - I give 10 stars!!! I returned today for my 3rd tattoo and it was a pleasure to get tattooed by Andrea Hart. She did a very sentimental piece on my wrist/arm and it looks absolutely amazing. I am very impressed with her artwork and the beautiful depiction of a 16th Century bridge on my arm. Andrea was very pleasant to work with and listened to my wishes attentively. I am very happy that I have chosen Craftsman Tattoo for all my tattoos and I will be comin...g back to Andrea for sure!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My brother in law gets all his tattooing done here so it was natural that I would go to Craftsman for my first tattoo. I am beyond impressed with Benny Hannya who tattooed me. His artistry is impeccable and his vision of my tattoo looked better than anything I could ever have imagined.
