Me and my 3 friends came up to Whistler for the weekend to celebrate a birthday and we were planning on getting tattoos as well. We looked at places in the area and specifically came here because we loved the work we saw online. Kelsey was nice enough to stay past her opening hours to do pieces for each of us, including a cute sprig design for one of my friends which looked absolutely stunning! I’m definitely going to be coming back here when I’m in Whistler again. Such a friendly environment and we saw a really cute dog so that made it even better. I was looking for a tattoo artist in the sea to sky area to work on a custom piece I had wanted for as long as I can remember. I spoke to a number of places but Kelsey at Whistler Tattoo really stuck out to me as I feel she was very invested in the story behind my tattoo but also seemed really excited about designing it. During the consultations Kelsey worked with me to design something that I was so happy with, her attention to detail and kind nature made the experience very special. Kelsey is a great artist with an unreal portfolio, she does also works with other talented artists at Whistler Tatooing so if you are looking for a great piece there will be an artist at this place that fits your style. I reached out to these folks to see if my friends and I could get a simple commemorative group tattoo during our first trip to Whistler. We had a basic design that we wanted done and they said it would be no problem. We set up a date and time over the phone. Day of, a couple of folks in our group changed their minds with regards to the direction of the design so we talked about the design with our artist Ryan and who would get what. Two of us ended up going the original route with a simple predetermined line piece. The other two got very custom-conceived designs, one which required a lot of extra time and skill. Ryan was incredibly patient and collaborative, really helpful and laid back but professional. Some friends and I had set up a group appt about a week in advance for simple commemorative tattoo. Ryan was awesome and worked with us to provide a unique spin for each of us. Two of our party took a pretty serious detour from the original plan and he took it in stride. One of us had a design that required collaboration between Ryan and Kelsey and it turned out awesome. Before visiting Whistler, a small group and myself booked a little time with Ryan for small commemorative tattoos. Today when we showed up with different ideas of what we were looking for, Ryan and Kelsey were incredibly patient and worked with us as we worked through individual customizations. Ryan did all 4 of our pieces and we all love them. Great experience!  I was only in town for 5 days and after reading other reviews, knew this was the place I wanted my next tattoo.  Getting in touch through Facebook was the easiest way to set up an appointment and receive answers about some followup care I had.  If I lived closer, I'd go here again if I decided to get another tattoo. My friends and I popped into Whistler Tattoo on the only afternoon we would have been able to get tattoos during our vacation. Kelsey was very kind and got all 4 of us in that evening.
