I have a full sleeve done by Ren at this location. She is an amazing artist and I look forward to her designing my half sleeve on the other arm. All of her work is customized so you know nobody will be sporting the same tattoo as you. I would recommend her to anyone considering getting a tattoo.

My very first tattoo experience was at Fly The Cage, with Zara Leaf. I talked to many artists in Victoria, and I ended up at Fly the Cage because of the welcoming atmosphere, and Zara’s outstanding expertise in realism (which i was interested in). Once she sketched the designs, I was completely set on them, as they were exactly what I was looking for. I am so above and beyond happy with my tattoos. I always have people asking me where I got them done, and I can gladly reply with Zara at Fly the Cage.

I have had two large sized tattoos done with Zara at Fly the Cage and I can't recommend her enough. She was patient and thoughtful with the designs, and displayed knowledge and experience when tattooing me, and providing follow up care. Fly the Cage is well worth the wait!

I got my first tattoo done with Zara at Fly the Cage and I’m very happy with my whole experience. Zara was able to assist with sizing and placement of my tattoo and created an amazing original piece for me. The tattooing itself was great (Zara’s playlist is amazing) and the studio is very clean and professionally run. I would definitely go back for any future work I get done!

The shop along with my tattoo was super clean, they were super helpful and friendly, and even though I was laying in a pretty uncomfortable position Ren made sure I was quite comfortable. Let them design something for you and it will come out excellent!

I had a wonderful experience working with Ren Hobbs at Fly the Cage for the colourful hermit crab tattoo I got on the back of my arm. I loved her passion for art and her work turned out really outstanding! Even though I had to lay in an uncomfortable position to get my tattoo done she was great at making me as comfortable as possible and I was very happy with the results. A nice, clean and quiet shop in a really nice area. 10/10 would go there again for my next one!

The studio features exceptional artists who create truly amazing one-of-a-kind designs. The studio itself is bright and clean and full of natural light and really positive, professional people who make you feel welcome and totally comfortable.
I love the location in Fernwood Square right across from the Belfry. Easy to find, central location.
I recommend Fly the Cage to everyone! 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!

Fly the Cage Tattoo Studio is a breath of fresh air—it's a bright, white space and very clean. I'm so used to tattoo studios being dingy, black, red, and usually overwhelming and intimidating. The opposite is true with Fly the Cage. Each of the artists here are so talented and very friendly. I am now the proud owner of the most beautiful custom-designed tattoo of my cat thank you to Zara Leaf. If you're considering this studio, don't think twice! I'd recommend it to anyone. I had a wonderful experience working with Ren Hobbs at Fly the Cage for the colourful hermit crab tattoo I got on the back of my arm. I loved her passion for art and her work turned out really outstanding! Even though I had to lay in an uncomfortable position to get my tattoo done she was great at making me as comfortable as possible and I was very happy with the results.
