This is the very first time that I feel like I need to go write a review based on my bad experiences back to back from the same studio. I initially booked an appointment with Faye, after I received her first pass which was one day right before the appointment, I wanted to work out some details about the posture of the fox as apparently it wasn't a good looking one at all, then she rejected me saying that she didn't feel like doing animals but only wanted to focus on flowers(she told me she liked animals idea from previous email). I told her I don't mind doing only flowers if she wanna free style a new one on whatever she feels like because I trusted her. Well then the night before my next appointment I got this second pass that I decided not to do it as I could easily tell that she spent no more than 20 mins on it even though I'm not an artist. Therefore, I went with another artist Amelie in the same studio, and 3 weeks after she took the deposit, I received her email said how she's over-full and very selective that she had to pass on my project. I understand how they could be super busy and stay behind from a lot of bookings. However, the way how they handled it is super unprofessional and unacceptable. I feel it's so discriminatory how they play favoritism. Like you could have turned me down in the first place but not wasted me almost 3 months time back and forth and pass on my project. This is preposterous and made me so upset, I definitely don't recommend this studio. Read Less

I've received several tattoos from multiple artists at Rainfire Tattoo and I'm absolutely in love with the studio, its artists and their artwork. So much thought and care goes into the customer service, their designs, the atmosphere and the overall client experience of getting tattooed. It's unlike any other tattoo studio I've been to; it's entirely unique and so special. I would recommend getting tattooed here to anyone. Read Less

The entire experience at Rainfire was wonderful, from the reading in the meditation space before we began to the calm, relaxed atmosphere during the session. Katia did an awesome job on my caduceus custom back piece, specially like how we brainstormed a few extras just before the session that took the creativity to the next level from the original design that we had been doing. The atmosphere was warm and calm, and I really liked the reading I received prior to us commencing. Nice way to set up the intension and space. I highly recommend her work, and hope to get to the coast again and add to my back piece, as what she's done so far and what I've seen her do on others has inspired more creativity to add.Read Less

I received the "Royal Presence" tattoo by Katia in March and was absolutely grateful for the whole experience. I loved how Katia took the time to start off the session with breathing exercises and a card reading in the meditation room. This allowed me to feel comfortable and at ease throughout my session. Katia has such a calm, kind and personable nature which really benefitted the whole experience. She finished my tattoo quickly and still paid so much time on the detail and what would look best. I had my very first tattoo done at Rainfire back in December 2016 with Caroline Cloutier and am more than impressed with not only the service I received, but the outcome of the tattoo as well! I had gone to the appointment with my friend and we were both very well taken care of. Caroline ensured I felt totally comfortable before proceeding to ink my skin. The studio itself provided such a calming, relaxing environment so that easily took my mind off the pain during the sessio...n. She was super kind and considerate - during the middle of session, she gave me a couple different options because she remembered I was on a bit of a budget and the dotwork that was originally supposed to be done would've taken longer than expected. We decided to go for shading instead, and the piece still turned out amazing!! Her instructions for how to care for my tattoo afterwards were very detailed and it healed beautifully and quickly. I had the honor of being tattooed by Ash a couple of months ago. Ash took the time to understand what I was looking for in my piece and created a personalized piece that incorporated his personal style as well as my desires. It was well worth the wait for the wonderful mandala that he designed and placed on my body. The studio is warm and inviting and there was an incredible calmness and serenity about the environment and experience. Katia and the lovely receptionist were very welcoming when I arrived at the studio.
