Went with my old man to get the design from our wedding rings done on our wrists. Both of us have lines that shouldn't be there, mine is not even close to symmetrical and it should have been very simple to follow the stencil then fill in. I went in to discuss getting a tattoo I had been designing since I was 12 I'm no artist not am I a tattoo designer so I had no clue what to expect having been told by my friend who had shown my design to another tattoo shop that it could be done no questions asked I was excited to get that design done however things fell through with that shop and I found pheonix tattoo which I'm happy I did when I went in and discussed the design with them pheonix the owner broke down how a tattoo works how designing them works and we both came to the conclusion my design would just not look right at all it would look too crowded and to chaotic I even spoke to a few friends who do have tattoos after wards about the design and they even agreed so I'm glad pheonix was there to point me in the right direction with his knowledge So anyways after agreeing that getting my design wouldn't be a good idea I asked about a different design I had seen online he agreed it looked way better and they could easily do it he recommended his new artist Storm a gorgeous and talented young lady for the job and after meeting her and seeing her work I agreed she would be the best artist for the job We booked my apt but things fell through as she got sick than I got sick so it couldn't be helped After a few weeks of waiting finally the day came for me to get my tattoo April 14th I was excited I was anxious and I was nervous having never had a tattoo done in my life and being scared of needles I brought my mom and friend who was like an older brother with me to the shop the moment Storm came out she calmed me down her with her calm cheerful fun loving personality and we got to work and I was surprised it didn't even hurt I could of fallen asleep it was so peaceful and easy and she kept me calm the entire time we had a blast laughing it up on Facebook live I highly recommend pheonix tattoos and I highly recommend Storm as an artist she's so passionate and talented in what she does :) I've shown off my work to a few friends who have tattoos already and are super critical and even they could barely find anything wrong with my tattoo they thought it looked sick and amazing they said it was some of the best shading and color work they have ever seen and that says a alot coming from my harsh and critical friends Thanx again pheonix and storm I'll be back for sure Read Less

I've always wanted a tattoo so you can believe my surprise when my friend offered to pay for me to have my tattoo done as a bday present I had a design I wanted since I was 12 years old but let me say this I'm a horrible artist don't know how to compose a tattoo so I'm the last person who should be doing it lolAnyways I called pheonix tattoo and asked if I could go in for a consultation which I'm super glad I did I showed him my design that's when pheonix broke it down for me and help me understand the basic designs of tattooing and how to design for a tattoo he explained that while they could do my design it would look cluttered and probably wouldn't be what I was hoping it would be in my head he showed me different ways we could do it however having had the design in my head for quite a while now I couldn't wrap my head around a different way to design it though I understood where he was coming from I decided to toss my design onto the back burner which I'm glad I did as a few of my friends who I spoke to afterwards even agreed with him Anyways luckily I had a few other ideas up my sleeves and I showed pheonix another design I found online and he said that would look way better on me and he helped me figure out placements and everything and than called his new artist to the front to meet me I showed Storm the tattoo idea discussed what I wanted to change and she loved it and said she would be honored to do it for me I could tell.she had extreme passion and booked my apt with herOn April 14th after both of us having recovered from being sick I went in and got my first tattoo done now I should mention I'm terrified of needles so I was scared and anxious but Storm put me right at ease from the moment she came out to get me to the moment we where done the tattoo I could have fallen asleep as she didn't hurt me one bit but I was to busy laughing and joking around with her when all was said and done I couldn't have asked for a better tattoo I showed my friends who are harsh and critical of tattoos and consider themselves tattoo perfectionists able to spot the smallest of small mistakes and only one mentioned something about the writing but he said it was such a small mistake that he had to look close to see it and even than he said it still looked pretty sick and rad and that he absolutely loved the coloring and shading so that says a lot right there If anyone is in the market for a tattoo than I highly recommend Storm at pheonix tattoos she's passionate and talented Read Less
