I'm not sure how or when I stumbled on Jordyn's Instagram account but I immediately followed her. Every new post made me want to get a tattoo by her. I finally had the money and nerve to write her about my idea. She responded not to long after asking for a bit more detail but was keen on my idea! After further chats, I booked an appointment and paid the deposit. A couple weeks before she sent me the design and I was beyond thrilled! Unfortunately, a couple days before I started to feel sick. She was totally understanding and sweet about it. We rescheduled which was very disappointing but for the best.The shop was small but clean and had a great vibe. I was a touch early so she was still setting up but we got started pretty fast. She was great with checking in on how I was feeling which I was good up until hour 3. I was overly ambitious and thought I could sit for the whole thing.. sadly I started to be in to much pain and couldn't go on. Again, she was super sweet and understanding. We wrapped up, I paid, and we booked another session.I honestly am not understanding the bad reviews on here... to give them one star because a customer laughed at you and they didn't defend you? You can't really ask someone to put down their paying customer for a walk in.. it isn't their place to get involved and perhaps they didn't even hear it because you know they are focused on tattooing. Or because they didn't seem stoked to do a cover up of a black star? I found everyone there to be friendly and funny! Lots of laughs exchanged between the artists and their customers! I had a good experience here! I would come back for sure!

Don't know what happened with the previous reviews (the shop must have improved?) but I can't find anything to complain about here! Went in and came out with exactly what I wanted. The female artists here are extremely talented, and all very nice. If you want a unique tattoo drawn and applied with passion then this is definitely the place for you. The artist I worked with was extremely accommodating and talented. if you're in the area or are thinking about getting a tattoo I would definitely recommend them.

Surpassed my expectations! Worked with Steve on a new piece. We spoke back and forth throwing ideas around and when he sent me the final sketch I was IN LOVE! Originally I was going to get the piece done on my calf, but decided I wanted it somewhere more visible... and went with my shoulder. It turned out even better on skin and I couldn't be more stoked! Definitely a new favourite piece and I'm so happy its on a place where it can get shown off! Thank you Ink & Honey!

Got my first tattoo here when i was 16 (with my mother) the tattoo was one word, gold, and the shading has since faded to look cloudy and blotchy, the line work has also blurred.

I went in here to ask about getting a tattoo that was badly done covered up. A pretty simple cover up, just wanted a star filled over with black ink. When I walked in, I told the front desk person what I wanted and showed him my arm. A customer that was being tattooed proceeded to laugh at my tattoo and say very rude things about me and my tattoo. None of the artists said anything in response. I was humiliated. A female artist came over to look at my arm and could not have been more disinterested or unfriendly. Glanced and it and said ok. Walked away. Front desk guy asked if I wanted an appointment and I said no and left as fast as I could. I was almost in tears. This experience made me very reluctant to go to another shop and ask about it again for fear of being treated the same way or embarrassed again. Thank goodness I did because I found an amazing place where the artists were kind, funny and interested. These people don't deserve business. Advice: when one of your customers is degrading a potential customer, stepping in and saying "please don't" can go a long way.

Not a good place to get a tattoo. I went a few years ago to get a tattoo on my ribs. I had sent in a sample of what I wanted and once I got to the shop it all went down hill from there. I waited over 2 hours for the artist to start while he took multiple cigarette breaks. Once he got started, I noticed that the tattoo was taking longer than anticipated. I looked down to see that the tattoo was not at all what I wanted and he ended up "freestyling" my tattoo. It was an awful experience, I hope no one goes here and seeks other, more professional places. Since then, I've spent over $200 trying to fix the mess he's created.

The female artists here are extremely talented, and all very nice. If you want a unique tattoo drawn and applied with passion then this is definitely the place for you. The artist I worked with was extremely accommodating and talented. if you're in the area or are thinking about getting a tattoo I would definitely recommend them.

I went in here to ask about getting a tattoo that was badly done covered up. A pretty simple cover up, just wanted a star filled over with black ink. Not a good place to get a tattoo. I went a few years ago to get a tattoo on my ribs. I had sent in a sample of what I wanted and once I got to the shop it all went down hill from there. I waited over 2 hours for the artist to start while he took multiple cigarette breaks. Once he got started, I noticed that the tattoo was taking longer than anticipated. I looked down to see that the tattoo was not at all what I wanted and he ended up "freestyling" my tattoo. It was an awful experience, I hope no one goes here and seeks other, more professional places. Since then, I've spent over $200 trying to fix the mess he's created.
