I just recently received a beautiful piece on my back from Ryan; an owl on a bed of roses. I brought him in my ideas and a photo that I liked but wanted quite a few things altered. Ryan listened to everything I wanted in my tattoo and drew me up a beautiful piece that l absolutely love! Originally i had wanted the tattoo in a different position on my back, which Ryan advised differently, and I am very thankful that he offered and I took his professional opinion. This being my first big tattoo, I was fairly nervous, but was advised that we could stop and take breaks whenever I needed. I was very surprised at how much he accomplished in the few hours I was there and walked out the door very happy, with a beautiful tattoo on my back that I have already received many compliments about. It is healing wonderfully. The shop was very clean and hygienic, and a great atmosphere to have work done. Would highly recommend anyone looking for a place to get tattooed to check out Parksville Tattoo! 🤗

Ryan was professional, hilarious and so easy to get along with and talk to (which I appreciated as my appointment was almost 5 hours). Ryan's tattoo's are beautiful and i couldn't be happier with my piece. He designed everything i wanted into his drawing and was accommodating and pleasant the entire time. We had great conversations and an overall wicked time. i will only get tattooed at Parksville Tattoo going forward and couldn't recommend them enough!

It is stunning now. He did this effortlessly. Such talent he has. I was turned away at another shop and told it could not be fixed up. I feel blessed to have found Ryan at his Parksville Tattoo shop. As an avid "collector" I've been in many shops, many chairs, and seen many artists. Ryan is at the top of my list for absolutely everything I look for. His work station is clean clean clean, he himself is clean, changes gloves often and so on.... some thing you want to see while sitting in the chair. His line work is pristine, and his colors still pop over 2 years later. He is a super easy guy to work with when it comes to designs and you end up getting what you want, not what some artist wants for you. Currently planning a trip from Calgary,Ab out to see him, a trip just for a tattoo as I'd love to have another one of his American traditional pieces on me forever. I'd highly highly highly recommend going to see Ryan.

Ryan's a super nice guy too, and he's one of the fastest most technical guys I've ever been tattooed by and this is coming from me, a tattoo artist. Ryan is in my opinion one of Canada's top ten traditional artists, You will never regret a tattoo from this shop.

Ryan did my first tattoo. I was pretty nervous but he made me feel super comfortable and it turned into a great experience, so much so that I almost fell asleep during the process! He is so talented and light handed. I gave him a photo of the tattoo I wanted, and he somehow created something even better than the picture I gave him, even though it was outside of his typical style (he has since told me that he just LOVES tattooing, it doesn't matter what it is, classic, photorealistic, even one-off infinite symbols, haha). Since the first one was so great, I had Ryan do my second tattoo as well! I get daily compliments on how well done and realistic they are, and I recommend him to anyone who notices. I am very happy to have his art with me forever! Thanks Ryan. :)

Huge Thanks to Colin Wiley for such an absolutely amazing piece of art. Definitely exceeded my expectations! The details in the trees were just unbelievable!! These guys are the best of the best, very professional and well managed shop. I felt welcomed and completely comfortable getting my tattoo here, did extensive research to find the right place. I would definitely recommend Colin or Ryan for anyone planning on getting a tattoo, because what you get will be a masterpiece! Look forward to my next visit!

As an avid "collector" I've been in many shops, many chairs, and seen many artists. Ryan is at the top of my list for absolutely everything I look for. His work station is clean clean clean, he himself is clean, changes gloves often and so on.... some thing you want to see while sitting in the chair. His line work is pristine, and his colors still pop over 2 years later. He is a super easy guy to work with when it comes to designs and you end up getting what you want, not what some artist wants for you. Currently planning a trip from Calgary,Ab out to see him, a trip just for a tattoo as I'd love to have another one of his American traditional pieces on me forever. I'd highly highly highly recommend going to see Ryan.

Got a tattoo from Ryan at the Montreal tattoo convention. It had to be the cleanest, quickest healing tattoo I've ever had. It didn't even scab, peel or flake, it just was. Ryan's a super nice guy too...

Ryan's a super nice guy too, and he's one of the fastest most technical guys I've ever been tattooed by and this is coming from me, a tattoo artist. Ryan is in my opinion one of Canada's top ten traditional artists, You will never regret a tattoo from this shop.

Ryan did my first tattoo. I was pretty nervous but he made me feel super comfortable and it turned into a great experience, so much so that I almost fell asleep during the process! He is so talented and light handed. I gave him a photo of the tattoo I wanted, and he somehow created something even better than the picture I gave him, even though it was outside of his typical style (he has since told me that he just LOVES tattooing, it doesn't matter what it is, classic, photorealistic, even one-off infinite symbols, haha). Since the first one was so great, I had Ryan do my second tattoo as well! I get daily compliments on how well done and realistic they are, and I recommend him to anyone who notices. I am very happy to have his art with me forever! Thanks Ryan. :)
