Expensive is an understatement.... I feel so ripped off and deceived by this company.. I couldn’t believe this lady and it actually makes me sick to my stomach just looking at this page again! My partner and I came in to get his nostril pierced she was happy enough to squeeze us in on a Friday afternoon which was lovely... she asked if he wanted a hoop or stud, my boyfriend wanted a hoop which she replied with “they range from $50” he picked the jewelry he liked and she said that will be 5 9 ninety just like that, that’s how she said it.... so off he goes to get it pierced obviously once the “important” part was done signing the legal forms, I thought it was strange that she didn’t fix up the payment at this point, cause EVERY piercing I have had it has been done that way. Any way..... after she had pierced his nostril they both came out to fix up the bill $753 f***ing dollars it cost to get his nose pierced!!!! Turns outs the nose ring itself was $599.... now maybe it is because I’m from Australia and back home we would use all of our “big words” like “hundred” instead of shortening it down 5 9...... obviously we assumed when she said that she ment $59.90 As it ranged from $50 like any normal person would assume, right? seriously I am so disgusted with this place, she clearly knew what she was doing! so here’s a lesson for you all, unless you are some high roller rolling in your hundreds I would find another piercing studio or just make sure you double check the prices they mumble underneath their breath! We are travellers here and my partners nose is now more expensive then the car we drive around in! A very expensive lesson for the both of us, I just hope it doesn’t happen to anyone else! Really nice jewelry selection. High quality pieces. The prices are insane though. Very high. Be prepared to spend a chunk of money if you get any piercings done here. Kara is the best piercer there from my experience. The shop is APP approved as are the piercers who work here so that is a nice feeling of security that the shop is sanitary and hygienic. Read Less

I had my philtrum piercing today by Krystal at Tranceformations. Everyone was friendly. I was seen quickly. Everything was very clean and sterilized. Ok, I have always been more of a tattoo gal than a piercing gal. I decided on impulse to get my nostril pierced, and the resounding recommendation I got was to go to Tranceformations. Boy, was everyone right! Krystal did the deed for me and it was so smooth, it didn't even hurt! She was so gentle and obviously very practiced. Just got my very first tattoo work done by Kirsten, and I couldn't be happier! She took what I said in the consultation and drew the best work. The process of getting the tattoo was really positive as well. She was so professional and took extra care to make sure everything was just right before she started tattooing. Her calming presence calmed me nerves, and she was super gentle and quick, and the tattoos turned out better than I ever could have imagined.   Additionally, the staff at the shop were all super fun and talkative, and they easily made conversation with both me and my friend.    Overall the experience was amazing, and I will recommend this shop to anybody who wants to get a great tattoo on the island! I will only go to this shop. Pay no mind to the post below, stating how bad this business WAS years ago. It is clear that she has not stepped foot in this establishment for a very long time as I haven't met a single person, other than her, who does was not thrilled with Tranceformations. I have gotten one tattoo and two piercings here, since moving to the island last year. I will only go to this shop. My tattoo was tastefully done by Ryan and I have a specialty piercing done by Krystal as well. Krystal also works the front desk and she has always been so accommodating to me and my flakey schedule.
