MUST READ: I had been coming to this place for years, Kim had pierced my nose years back and it was great. However i recently went back for an industrial piercing and it was the most terrible experience i've ever had. Kim was training someone at the time which makes me feel like she should have been paying more attention to where and how she's piercing my ear. I am in so so much more pain than it should be. After it was done she proceeded to obviously tell me the aftercare, then went into telling horror stories about the piercing if it doesn't heal ect. The only logical reason i can think she would tell me awful things about the piercing is because she knows she did it wrong from the start so she knew it would not heal. So i went to get multiple second opinions and turns out my piercing is pierced incorrectly for my ear. The angle and depth are very wrong and therefore causing me SO much unnecessary pain. I understand piercings will hurt as i have many of them. I got little to no warning when she was actually piercing me. I felt absolutely zero control over the situation. Not only was the piercer i felt unprofessional the lady at the desk was also not professional at all. Saying the piercer is her aunt and convinced her to get a naval piercing at 13..in front of customers parents. Then went i spoke up about my issue all i got was "i told you so, you should have researched the piercing" basically disregarding me entirely and not once apologized or owned up to their mistake. They also made my comment private so other customers couldn't see which i think is very shady. Will not ever be going back. Read Less

It’s not easy to trust the ears, bellies and noses of your kids to someone but it seems now my young daughters get pierced weekly by the lovely Kim . I trust her implicitly and will never go anywhere else! She also pierced my nose and it’s healed very well! Thanks Kim :))))) Read Less

Today, my friend and I both for our nipples pierced. Kim was absolutely amazing. Friendly, honest and best of all FAST!! She did the piercings and got jewlery in so quick. Except for this day, a couple of Saturdays ago, I asked if they had a 10 gage insertion needle & pliers for opening a 00 gage bead ring. I totally understand being out of stock, can't have everything in supply. Well the answer I got was a flat out no & no, she was a regular employee so not new, probably or likely in her early 30s, definitely not the other woman that was so helpful to me 2x, thus coming back & recommending. This might be more of a recommendation than a complai...nt. I felt shut down right there, rather than offering options, like maybe offering to order it, alternatives? The store wasn't busy as the previous customer left making me the only customer in the store. That day I felt like my business was not really needed as there was no enthusiasm rather just saying No, then we don't have that either. I've gotten all my 7 piercings done here, I did a lot of research before going and found this place. Kim has done all my piercings and even my brothers eyebrow and ear lobes. She is quick, efficient, and makes the whole experience enjoyable. Their pricing is relatively on the cheaper side out of most places around Maple Ridge. First of all this tattoo shop is located in a great spot in Maple Ridge, and a sweet design on front of the shop, eye appealing, gives u the urge to go in and look around, and see all the great pictures of ink designs that have been mastered by artist Sean Fury! The piercer was very kind, genuine, and welcoming as soon as I went in. She managed to squeeze me in and made me feel at ease. Never felt so welcome and relaxed in a piercing/tattoo shop. Gotten three piercings here and they have all gone well. Kim is knowledgable, very welcoming, and also quite experienced- someone I trust completely for my own piercings. Good selection of jewelry and, from the art books I've seen, they've got some talented artists tattooing there as well. My only suggestion would be to stock a larger variety of taper options, particularly of the metal variety (I'd especially like to see concave tapers). Overall, I'd firmly recommend this place.
