I got my belly button pierced by Matt and I was rejected by 3 other places to do my belly button because I had done a tummy tuck and they all said they couldn't do it. Matt did it with ease! He is super professional and made sure to explain everything and let me know if I needed anything to just pop by. The studio was very clean and everything came out of the sterilized packages the staff upfront was great as well with making sure I got my after care. Captain Matt did a great job on my industrial and medusa peircings, was very clean and informative. I had bought a gift certificate from the owner Cat for my sister in law who only sees a particular artist at rebellion. Recently certain circumstances arose where she no longer works for the company and she had gone in there asking for a refund of the $150 gift certificate. Keep I'm mind when i purchased the certificate, Cat the owner knew who I was and who i was buying it for, even describing my sister in laws tattoo down to a tee. She walks away with a 150 dollars in her pocket and my sister in law was left with no tattoo work. I'd been shopping around for a talented tattoo artist to entrust a series of artwork to. April is the complete answer to all the criteria on my tattoo artist wishlist and then some. She is super intuitive, amazingly artistic, and a creative genius. So far I have had 2 beautiful pieces done by her; my son's footprints connected to my previous tattoos by a watercolor rainbow and Kurt Cobain's portrait done in a watercolor rainbow style. Both turned out more incredible than I could have imagined. Not only does April do phenomenal work, but she is also super easy to get along with, funny, and friendly. Went in with 1 main idea of roughly what I was looking for and it got turned into an absolutely stunning memorial tattoo. I was told feet fade/ do not take color well but it was not a problem going in and getting it touched up. I just got a tattoo done today from April ,I had heard about her from someone and was looking for a knew artist.So I went in and met her,gave her some ideas of what I wanted ,made the appointment ,in the mean time I emailed the shop about my previous experience and anxiety with drawings not being sent tell the night before ,and could I get a chance to see the design sooner ,they were more than accomidating ,with in a few days I was sent the pre-design ,and was able to communicate any changes needed...My experience with the shop,was very comfortable but proffesional..April is a awesome artist ,we went over the colors first,and put our heads together to come up with a plan ,good conversation ,and very clean...I would so recommend April...and do plan to go back in a month for a check on my knew tattoo,and in future for more work.... So my addiction to ink and positive feedback from fellowed inked friends led me and the mrs to this neat little shop on the one way down in Langley City. I'm basing this review from my experience not my wife's lolI got a good vibe from the staff who work here as everyone is friendly and super cool which was a huge bonus. The shop is clean, quirky, and unique with a lot of cool and badass decor on the walls and ceiling  Booked an appointment for a design on my left forearm with Matt and he was super awesome firing up a quick sketch from my example, did some measurements for the size of the tattoo, paid my deposit and kaboom appointment achieved.Day of the appointment the usual standard operating procedures of sign this, initial that, and so on. The equipment they use is sterilized and fresh out of the package and they show you personally to make sure everything is clean, neat, and tidy. The procedure for the tattoo is business as usual but unlike past tattoo artists I've had that don't really talk much during the work, Matt and I had full length conversations about cool stuff like bacon and sword fighting which was pretty wicked. The overall experience was fantastic and the best part was the artists there let you know things like what colours work on your skin tone, placement of the tattoo in case body articulations may be an issue. Will I go back? Damn straight. Cool staff, reasonable shop rates, and awesome ink being the end result which makes me happy!!!! Read Less
