I have to say I rather enjoy coming here to DLD. I was introduced by a friend to Clay. The Artwork that comes out of the Shop is amazing. All of the Artists and Piercer are TOP quality. Michelle Grey, I got to know and find out that she is an incredibly talented artist. She loves doing anime and cartoon images as well as many other things. Charles Is a brilliant artist as well, he has great command especially when it comes to photography. I couldn't be more happy coming here time and time again. I couldn't post this without clicking on a star but I really want to put a negative 10 star rating on this place. I was never so dissed in all my life. My daughter and I stood at the counter waiting for someone to acknowledge us for over 14 minutes. I could see that one tattoo artist was working on someone in the front office, so I didn't want to disturb them, but I could hear people talking in the back, so I walked back there to see if I could get some help, but they barely acknowledged me when I said hi. Then one of those persons came to the front and got his lunch out of a drawer and continued to completely ignore us. We left. This place will NEVER get my business for anything. Read Less

Charles was kind enough to repair my lobes for me, during his last trip to Edmonton. This was something I wanted done for a while, but was very nervous about. He completely eased my anxiety. Not only was the procedure painless, but he made me feel calm and comfortable. Often asking how I was doing, making sure I wasn't feeling any pain, and talking to me throughout. I had my labret scalpelled by Charles while he was guesting in Edmonton this April. He talked me through the process and was great about checking in and making sure I was comfortable. The procedure went quickly and he made himself available for questions and concerns following the procedure as well as checking in with me about the healing a couple weeks after. I have never been to this studio but I got Charles to sew up my ears when he did a guest spot in Edmonton. I was very nervous for the procedure as I don't do well with things like that. Charles and his assistant, Michelle, made me feel very comfortable and let me take a break when I needed and offered me candy to bring up my sugar level. After that things went super easy, I didn't feel anything at all and it only took about 1.5 hours in and out. I am soooo very happy with the outcome. It's been a week today and they looked almost healed with just the stitches in. Can't wait till they come out! Beyond stoked! I spent a few years debating whether or not I should close up my one inch stretched lobes, and after many jumps back and forth I decided to take the leap. I have personally known Charles coworker/someone he apprenticed for many years and since I've heard nothing but fantastic things about Charles from not only this coworker, as well as many people around Edmonton, I knew I could not go to anyone else. After shooting off a quick email explaining that I would like to get my lobes closed up (not knowing he moved to Kelowna) within hours he already responded and was willing to fly all the way back in order to guest spot and help me out! I trust very few individuals with this modification and I couldn't be more grateful to have someone so willing, professional, friendly, and skilled to suture up my lobes. Charles did a fantastic job.
