My boyfriend and I had plans to stay in Kelowna and get small and simple tattoos, although mine was more intricate. We went to this place because of the high ratings, with the intention to get them 9 days later. Lefty (the tattoo artist) took pictures and notes of what we wanted, and had over a week to look through them. Instead, he waited a couple of hours before our appointment to cancel due to illness. I tried to find alternatives such as referring us to another artist at his shop, or give us our deposit back ... But he answered them with an "I don't know", and instead promised to do our tattoos the next morning.
This move cut off our plans for our last evening, and postponed our travel time the following day. When we got to the shop the next morning, it was clear Lefty had lost his notes, because he was asking the same questions again. When he started sketching my tattoo, he had sketched it much bigger than the size we originally agreed upon. I politely voiced my opinion, and he immediately said he was too sick to do the tattoos, and gave us our deposit back.
When he began feeling sick he should've looked at his workload and judged his capabilities before the day of our original appointment. He should've listened to my alternatives the first time so we didn't waste our vacation time waiting on him, and found another artist. I'm rating this experience as a 1, because cancelling twice is not professional, and was completely avoidable.

My daughter had an MRI at 430 on a Friday at Kelowna Hospital. She had to take her nosescrew out. We could not get it back in. I called Bertram & Co 15 Minutes before they closed, and she said to bring her by and she would put it back in for us. Very quickly, efficiently, and painlessly, she put it back in.

Pretty disappointed. Had a tattoo consultation over a month ago. Dan wrote down notes, took pictures, told me he had some open spots at the end of the month, and told me he would draw something up in the next few days and get back to me. Didn’t hear from him. Called the studio a month later and told the girl over the phone that I hadn’t heard from him. She got my contact information again and said he’d get back to me. Still haven’t heard from him. Would have just appreciated the honesty if he didn’t want to do it so I could have looked for somewhere else.

I told her I would come back and i waited until 14:40 and when i come to the door the place is locked and the lady just left. :( i got all my previous piercings here and they usually have amazing service but they made me wait 3 hours for absolutely no service.

Te pierced my nipples last weekend, and Sea pierced my left industrial and conch today. Both lovely ladies with lots of experience. Nipple piercings were pretty well painless, so no problems there. Conch was yucky, and industrial was downright nasty, but it was nobody's fault - they're just nasty piercings to get, and Sea handled my whining with grace. ;) Thank you both for the excellent experiences. I'll definitely be back!

I got my smiley pierced about a week ago. The experience was definitely great and the piercer was so kind, but the piercing was completely crooked and it looked so retarded dangling in my mouth. The jewelry didn't fit my mouth properly, thus, I had to take it out and wasted $70 on a piercing I only had for a week. I'm pretty disappointed and I don't think I'd recommend to anyone getting a smiley piercing at this location. I've heard such great thing about this place, it's a shame it didn't work out for me!

Sea pierced my daith on Saturday, the day before mother's day. We had planned on coming in on mother's day for the special, however due to unforeseen circumstances we couldn't make that day. She honoured the special price anyway without us asking. The piercing itself was good... She gave her professional advice regarding jewelry, which I happily accepted. Fantastic customer service and a professional clean environment. Fully recommend Bertram. Will be getting my next piercing there.

Teegan pierced my conch a few months ago and Sea did my lobe and my mom's nose a day ago and I can say I was very pleased with my experience. Both ladies are very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I find my piercings are fussy to heal in general, but I haven't had any problems with them in comparison to other cheap piercers I've seen in the Okanagan. This is definitely my new go to place and I have complete confidence in their work!

I'm going onto 21 hours with the piercing and so far all is well. Im definitely going back to her for more in my near future!

Sea pierced my nipples on Saturday so obviously they are still healing, but so far so good. Experience was wonderful and comfortable as always. Sea has pierced me 4 or so times now and she is always willing to answer any and all questions I have even if they are ridiculous because of nerves haha. Highly recommend her and this shop in general :)

Dan is an alright artist, I traveled from Alberta to come to him and was told touchups within the first year are free and to just call to book an appointment... I have called multiple times and each time was told Dan would call me back, he never has, absolute terrible customer service, would not recommend, he's no hot shit as an artist but even worse to try to get touch ups done based on how he never calls back..... will not return

We went to this place because of the high ratings, with the intention to get them 9 days later. Teegan pierced my conch a few months ago and Sea did my lobe and my mom's nose a day ago and I can say I was very pleased with my experience. Both ladies are very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I find my piercings are fussy to heal in general, but I haven't had any problems with them in comparison to other cheap piercers I've seen in the Okanagan.
