Modern Tradition is a new tattoo shop in the Cowichan Valley opened in 2013. Albert Caine has been working in the tattoo industry for 20 years starting out in Victoria. He has worked at shops such as Tattoo Zoo, Urge Studios and Universal Tattoo Studio. He is the former owner of Black and Blue Tattoo Shop in Nanaimo and is enjoying his new venture in the Valley.

I have been here twice now and my wife as well it the only place i recommend in town it is clean the staff are friendly and talkative and the artwork is excellent thanks jesse you did a hell of a job

Have to say Albert nailed my last 2 tattoos. Went I to my consult giving him my ideas and he came back with a fabulous tribute for my mother and my Jessica Rabbit pin up style wearing thigh waders. Totally loving both and can't wait to get back in the chair. Super friendly and a relaxed layed back atmosphere. Highly recommend this great artist. Read Less
