I first came into Scarecrow Ink because every time I admired a particularly beautiful tattoo and asked the person where they had it done, easily 7 of 10 people referred me to this shop. Several tattoos later, I am now referring people who admire the work I have had done by artists there. The shop is clean, with exceptional hygienic practices - watching the artist set up made this nurse’s heart happy! The staff are professional and excited to educate you on the design process, the science behind the healing process, the tools they use, tattoo care, and how to get the most out of your sitting. I love being treated like a partner in the process, and learn so much every time I go in. Finally, the artists are incredibly talented. Any time I bring them a design, they somehow manage to take the pictures, pins, and verbose descriptions of what I’m looking for and turn it into something that goes far beyond what I had imagined was possible. They are enthusiastic for any project I have come to them with, large or small, and I have been thrilled with every sitting. My daughter (4.5 years old) just got her ears pierced by Jesse and it was an amazing experience. He treats the kids with respect and as responsible young people! He makes sure that it’s the kids choice and talks to them directly with such patience. My daughter was a bit shy at first, so we stopped in a few times just to say hi so that when she was ready, she’d be comfortable and happy with her decision! When she was finally ready she went in smiling from ear to ear the whole time. He numbs their ears so they don’t feel a thing and explains the process to them! This place is great. I got my first professional piercing done here and it was an awesome experience that i would 10/10 do again. The manager/piercer Jesse was super nice and did not make me feel nervous at all about how he did it and was good at explaining what was going on. The owner is super nice but some of the artists have mediocre work, and with that they charge more for what they should considering that. The piercing side of things, super great. They even have a deal on Sunday and Monday I believe! Read Less
