I have had 4 tattoos done here and I love all of them. The artists are great and they are really honest about what will and will not work. I've gone in and asked for things and they let me know that my idea wouldn't work so they worked with me to figure something else out. Both Matt and Chantel are great artists! Wanted to get my mom and I matching tattoos for her birthday. Small, it says, "I am enough." The message behind it means a lot to both of us. Walked in and as soon as we explained our idea, Matt completely shot it down saying that it was small and pointless. We were also told that it was $165 for an hour and a set up fee of like $25. Which already seemed off. Usually its charged by size. What we were not told is that it was like that for EACH of us. Matt gave us the impression that it was going to be around $200 total. It was $400. 3 words. $200 each. That is extremely overpriced. We also were not told that walk ins are usually Fridays and it would have cost less. No one even brought that up. Absolutely no customer service from Chantel or Matt. I would not recommend them to anyone. Will never go back. Read Less

Chantel did an awful awful tattoo for my dad. I wish we were told how inexperienced she was before we started. The shop recommended her for it. They obviously want her to have experience but she charges way too much. And is horrible at tattooing. The tattoo was a simple lettering tattoo and was all splotchy and not filled in. When we complained to the shop they told us they would charge us to fix it. Horrible experience and will never go back. Read Less

Aubry did a bad ass tat on on my right shoulder right out of his mind. I gave him an idea of a sun and asked him to take off with it and the art that he came up with was just out of this world and straight out of his mind. I had no idea what it was until I got the final product and then I saw it for the first time. And what he came up with I could not ask for anything better. Thanks again. I came all the way from Houston Texas And I recommend the point ink if you want a clean... and and bad ass art all the artists are very talented in their style of work. To be honest, I was terrified of getting a tattoo.  I liked the concept of the form of body art and had talked about it for years, yet actually going to get one was a different story. I knew what I wanted and placement, but getting something permanent with needles wasn't my idea of a fun afternoon.  I had so many questions that I kept using Google for including: Where would I go? How much would it actually hurt?  You can only use the internet to some extent. After following The Point Ink's social media pages and liking what I had seen on Facebook, Instagram, and their official website, it ended up becoming a 'no-brainer' of where to go.  It simply become a matter of 'when.'  When it finally came time to getting my first done,  I had a really good experience.  The staff (then Chantel, Matt, & Gregg) were super friendly, the shop was clean, and Chantel did an awesome job.  She went through aftercare really well with me.  The addiction began ;) Following my experience, I have only gone to TPI for my tattoos.  I have had tattoos done by Chantel and Jon and will not go anywhere else - and am deciding my fourth as I type this!  I recommend checking out their work and hitting them up if you live in or around Abbotsford! Additional note: When The Point Ink offered piercings, Teil did my nose ring.  I had a wonderful experience and it was SO much better than getting my ears done at Ardene back in the day.  I wish I took advantage of getting more piercings when they had them. Had the pleasure of getting work doe by Matt this weekend at the tattoo convention in Calgary. I am beyond pleased and Matt nailed my idea and gave me exactly what I was looking for and more!! This shop is more than professional and the only possible negative thing I can think of is that they are so far away for more work!!! I will go out of my way to hook up with them again for more work. In the past, I had gotten a few piercings done at their studio. I let them know of my nickel allergy and they assured me that the jewelry they use is safe for people with issues like me. Not once have I had a successfully healed piercing from them, I take care of my piercings and I even went back to them to get it checked out and got the blame pinned on me. Turns out they use medical grade surgical steel which even though it works for the majority of human population, can still cause problems with some due to the NICKEL alloy in it! I had also bought medical grade s.s eyelets from them for my stretched ears that I have never had a problem with in the 5 years i have had them And my body had a immediate reaction that was so bad, I couldn't wear anything in my ears for a couple week while they healed back up. I went back recently to look for alternatives, and explained to them my issue again and the owner -literally- called me a bullshit liar, insisted that medical grade surgical steel is 100% suitable for all clients  and Referred me to a professional piercing website to "brush up on my facts" (only to prove me right in the end) and was over all really rude with his choice of words. I wouldn't bother wasting money at their shop if you have a sensitivity to jewelry, they clearly aren't too concerned about their customers safety. Read Less

I went in there today because my left CBR has fallen out a few days earlier, and I was unable to get it back in- it seemed like the skin had grown over in the last few days. I work across the street at Ann Marie's Cafe, so even though I got the lobe piercings at Renaissance, I figured I would pop over to To The Point, since I had heard great things about them from my customers. I came in and was greeted with friendly faces, and didn't feel intimidated at all, like I do in some tattoo/piercing shops. I purchased the CBR, which was reasonably priced, and the lady (i wish I could remember her name!) brought me back to put it in. She was unable to get the taper through, and asked me to hold tight, she'd ask the piercer to come back and take a look.He was doing a tattoo, but took a break to come see me, right away. I also wish I could remember his name. He looked at my ear, and told me I had some scarring he had never before seen in earlobes, and explained to me what it meant. He was very friendly and gentle, and I felt very at ease as he finally got the taper through my ear, and put the jewelery in place. He explained to me their policies, and as I mentioned I am planning on coming to get a lip piercing done after grad in June, he told me to come on in, and just explain my situation before getting it done, so that we can figure out what's best. I forgot to tip him, and I feel horrid about that, because he was so fantastic!The shop is incredibly clean, the staff are knowledgeable, and I DEFINITELY recommend everyone going in there. I am stoked to get my lip pierced there, because they made me feel very at ease, and I know I'll be well taken care of. Everyone, this shop is worth the extra money. Read Less
