What I wanted was some definition to my face without wearing makeup. I am almost completely colourless - too pale. I was afraid That with my extreme lack of pigment it would be easy to do colours too dark which would look unnatural. My eyebrows also were becoming shorter and shorter as a symptom of hypothyroidism. Karen has done my brows, eyeliner and lip liner. It has allowed me to stop wearing eye makeup (since I am allergic to almost all of it). I was terrified that it would be painful but Karen is very skillful and patient to make it almost completely painless. She perfectly matched/complimented the mineral pigment to my own skin and eye colours. She is an exceptional person with exceptional talent! I was referred to Karen by a friend and then I saw her picture and article in the Womanition Magazine. I had already heard good things and was going to book an appointment but after I read the article, I knew I had found the right person. Karen did a consultation with me for eyebrows and eyeliner. I was not sure exactly what I wanted or what to expect but she took her time to walk me through everything. She explained the healing process and times and even booked me on a Su...nday to work with my schedule. I was so impressed with the process, she drew on the brows and tweaked them until I was happy and then took a purple surgical marker to outline it to make sure she had the exact shape to work within. I had a consult, did my first eyebrow appointment and then came back for the touch up appointment and decided to have my eyeliner done as well. She created a custom colour for me that looked like denim and I had it on the top and bottom. I came back for my eyeliner touch up appointment and decided to extend my eyebrows a bit further out and she made the adjustment for me for free. I love the fact that Karen uses the Softap hand method and that she is also able to remove color as well. One girl I know, had to go see Karen to have some bad microblading removed...She also does tattoo removal using a natural salt method. I am happy and look forward to years of not having to worry about as much makeup again except for the color refreshes from time to time over the years. Please ladies do your homework & save your money , I went to Karen about a year ago , spring of 2015 , she certainly talked the talk & I was convinced that she knew what she was doing , I couldn't have been more wrong !!!! I had my eyeliner done ....what a mess & my eyebrows looked so fake , I have felt so self conscious ever since & I am currently undergoing treatments to have her service that she didn't provide corrected , I have had one treatment so far & I can already see a difference & it will take three more , I'm so excited to see the finished results , & for anyone else that has had this misfortune please spread the word to save anyone else from going through this !!!!!
