Very unhappy. They totally screwed up my daughters piercings and didn't seem to know what they're doing. On top of that, the customer service is terrible. Went to Dark Day afterwards and they were a million times better, so go there instead! edited: I just noticed the response from the shop below and wanted to mention that we did in fact come back when we realized there was a problem. We were told to let the piercing grow over and then have them pierced again. Sorry, but I don't trust you anymore to go through that again! Dark Day was great with removing the piercing and their service was 100% better. They were fast, friendly, cleaner and really seemed to know piercings better. I also want to add that expert body mod also marked the placement of the piercings with tattoo ink which was totally unnecessary and didn't come off for months. Read Less

I have had a lot of issues with migraines (particularly otic {ear} type), vertigo and its most 'fun' partner nausea! Also experiencing double vision, hearing loss with muffled hearing and a host of other related issues for the last 3 years and most intense the last year! I have had ear acupuncture in the past and had good results and correlation with its corresponding body part. So when I heard of the 'DAITH' piercing and its corresponding theory of helping with migraines - I... figured, what did I have to lose? At worst, I had a cute new piercing! At best, it diminished my migraine symptoms. At awesomeness! It stopped the migraine entirely! I had it done on May 12. No word of a lie, I killed the stuffed animal I was given to comfort myself! I also was started on a new medication for migraines by my Dr. Within a few days I started to feel a resurgence of health. A steadier feeling, my vision was settling and best of all! Without the migraine starting the cascade, I wasn't getting vertigo as frequently as before! Skeptically, I attributed it to the medication. Fast forward to June 30. I needed a MRI. I had to take out the earring. After the procedure, I tried putting the earring back in, no go. A friend tried the next day, nope! I PM'd Sandra, she said it had probably grown over already. I wasn't able to get it repierced until today. In the 5 days between, I've seen an increase in my symptoms again! Within a short period of time, I started getting a headache. My vision started to double again. To my surprise, the earring had been making such a difference! I was an on the fence skeptic until I was forced to take it out but now? Wow! I got my Daith pierced on May 3, and the experience was great (minus the pain lol). I was walked through every step, she told stories and had humor to take my mind off the pain, and I even got a sucker at the end. I would definitely recommend going here for piercings. Read Less

I have gotten three piercings there so far, and I have absolutely loved each experience. Extremely friendly and professional! She explained everything clearly and made sure I was good to go before I left. I will only trust my skin to Sandr . Sandra has done 4 of my 9 tattoos, and is the only person I've seen in Red Deer. The first time I went in there, I was amazed - they gave me better after care instructions than any of my other tattoo artists, and everything has always healed beautifully. I took my daughter in 2 weeks ago to get her cartilage pierced. She's 15. The customer service I got was great as a parent But what got me was the service provided to my daughter. She was treated with respect. Educated on taking care of the piercing. Her questions were answered in a manner that when we got home, she had no issues with taking care of her piercing.
