So, I’m SOOO stoked about the tattoo I got , done by Eric Wagemans, that I had to write a review!! First off, let it be known that this was my very first tattoo..I went to Eric with an idea of what I wanted done, and trusted him with the rest..what I ended up with on my back is breathtaking !! Waaay better than I ever could’ve dreamt up myself!! As an artist, his work is just beautiful! And as for his mad tattooing skills?? Like I said, this was my first one, and he has a GENTLE touch!! Didn’t hurt at all! It was all healed up perfectly within a week , as well :) the atmosphere in this place is amazing ..great , great group of guys...and as for Eric..super sweet guy! Like the artist. Place was friendly. Didn't like being told the artist was 100% of cost of next sitting then being charged +$100 over that. Also didn't like coming in for my apt and been told he took a walk in so I had to wait 2 hours for my apt it sucked. Was summer 2016. Tattoo still not finished got to expensive. Read Less

Trash. Came in for a simple 5 letter word on my forearm. Half way through the word it starts going in another direction causing it to be crooked on my arm. The guy doing it (didn’t even tell me his name) stopped halfway through called another guy over. They started talking seemingly concerned in a different language. He then shrugged and proceeded to finish my tattoo without saying a word to me. It’s not like one letter is out of place. Half of the word is. The piercer who used to be at ghost town was brutal. Got two simple lobe piercings, which she somehow managed to mangle. Went to my regular professional piercer to have him tell me that they are both extremely crooked and pierced with low-grade jewelry. Ended up having to take one of the piercings out within 2-3 months as it was infected from the beginning. Barely took time to talk everything over with me. Pretty much just handed me the waiver, shoved the needle through, then asked for her money. Not surprised to find out she no longer works here. Would like to have more information on your website about this new piercer. Also would recommend that you guys start buying in better quality jewelry, like anatometal. Would rather pay $80 vs the $40 I paid for a piercing that I can keep for longer than 2 months. I have had friends go here to get pierced & one was able to bargain the price of the piercing/jewelry down, which would not happen in a more professional shop. Can't speak on behalf of the tattoo artists, but the staff in the front were not very welcoming. Not impressed at all. Wanted a depost up front, wanted to change my appointment last minute, refused refunding my deposit, and finally reluctantly kept the appointment. The artist (Jose) whose not there anymore did a really heavy handed job. It healed and faded horrible bad, got a touch up a month later which also healed and faded horribly bad. Hit up great artist in Lethbridge who did my next piece and did amazing work. Going to have to go this new place in Lethbridge to fix the horrible job that I got at Ghost Town. I took my 10 year old in to get her ears pierced along with my 5 year old, who was there for moral support. The barber kept us entertained while we waited for our turn with Jenn, and Jenn was brilliant! She was very no nonsense, kind, gentle and extremely efficient. The needle was through before we knew it, without blood or tears. My girls both enjoyed the atmosphere, the art work and the people they met today. My now pierced,(and very cool 10 yr old), was especially impressed with being called girlfriend. Don't go to to this shop. Originally I was extremely happy but then looked closely at the piercings, one was slanted and extremely irritated when I looked after it how she told me to the piercings were extremely clean so that wasn't the issue. The piercer is absolutely awful, she messed up my piercings so bad. I had to go elsewhere when my jewelry ripped out in my sleep, since I'm a newbie and I couldn't put it back in and the piercer was only in Friday and Saturday which is ...extremely stupid. I was also told that the jewelry is utter shit, it reacted with my skin and caused irritation and wouldn't have healed properly anyways. I lost 120 on these piercings as I had to take them out. I went in today to get my tongue pierced and a Monroe piercing. I believe my piercers name was Jen (?) But regardless she was amazing! She made the whole experience fun for me, even when I had a bit of an embarrassing moment lol. The whole staff is very friendly and caring. The shop is very clean and well put together. There is a reason that they can get you in quick. Not happy with my tattoo I should have said something but didn't. Communication was kind of an issue with the artist maybe didn't understand what I wanted. Great sketch, not so great tattoo. Didn't cover my tattoo with anything which was very shocking!!! Booked in with Jhuan for a hand/arm piece. He was patient and gentle. I was extremely nervous in regards to the pain that I would feel at his line work as that's all my tattoo is. His drawing was beautiful and his tattoo work is undeniable. I am so incredibly happy and excited about the work that was done and how pretty my tattoo is. My boyfriend and I have gotten several tattoos here and have not only been grossly overcharged but treated very poorly. Two of my four tats are jacked up and I had to fight to have one fixed. The (fix) was a joke and the artist( I use this term lightly) was a jerk the entire time. The fix didn't take and it looks the same. One if my boyfriends tattoos was so overworked that half of it fell off in the very thick scab that the overworking caused. This was blamed on poor care. They never cover a tattoo when it's finished, claiming that if it isn't bleeding it doesn't need a bandaid. Anyone who has been to a real artist knows it's an open wound that should be covered for 24 hrs. I have recently been to a shop that is award winning and the artist was completely appalled at everything. I will never return and there are 2 particular artists that have no business touching anyone!! Read Less

Terrible! My daughter and I received 2 very simple, small tattoos that were designed by me. It literally took 30 mins total for the work and we were grossly overcharged for 2 hrs! Not only was the service awful but I was accused by admin of not properly caring for my tattoo because the work was that crappy.
