After days of researching for a tattoo shop and reading about some shops turning away small piece, I got discouraged. It was my first tattoo I'm looking for and the design was very simple and small. Finally stumbled upon the name of the Mile studio somewhere over the internet. I emailed Nadia and sent her a few pictures of what I wanted, a star constellation and 1 script. Nadia got back to me the next day and sent me some fonts to go over. She was very prompt, and we decided for a day shortly. The shop is in downtown, even though a bit small and may be easy to miss depending on where you come from, it has plenty of parking space.
Arrived at the shop she quickly drew up a design for constellation for me and some line/dot work which I love. I got a script on my collarbone and another one on my inner arm, which supposed to hurt a bit though I felt nothing, just like something poking at my skin. She was chill and we talked throughout our session, from manga to movies, to lifestyle.
Since it didn’t hurt I got both done in one shot. It’s been a year now, not sure if I need to touch up but if I do, I’ll def coming back to the Mile. I’m actually trying to get a few gift card as well.

Nadia does great work. She covered a neck piece that I grew out of and gave me exactly what I wanted. Love the tattoo and very good customer interaction. I will be going back for sure.

I could not be happier with the quality of work and my experience with Nadia at The Mile Tattoo Studio. I had a pretty large tattoo on the inside of my forearm that I needed covered up, and was very nervous trying to find someone that I could trust to do a good job. I happened to see some of Nadia's work online and decided to schedule a consultation, as I was very impressed. I pitched what I had wanted done and within a couple weeks, Nadia had drawn me a beautiful portrait. After about 7 hours split over two appointments, my coverup was complete and it looks AMAZING. I could not be happier with the job and I definitely recommend her to anybody who wants to be a hundred percent confident that their piece will be done right! I will definitely be back in the future!!!

This was my first tattoo and I did a lot of research to find the perfect artist for the style I wanted. Nadia really nailed the initial design and tattoo. She's very professional and the shop is spotless; she will make you feel at ease. She likes to talk, so it made the 4-hour sessions of being constantly stabbed by needles fly by!

Nadia is nothing short of awesome! This was my very first tattoo, and the overall experience couldn't have gone any better, I'm in love with the end product. You can tell Nadia is very passionate about what she does; I am pretty sure she was more excited about drawing up and tattooing this piece on me than I was about getting it. I'm a bit iffy on the details but I think I was in the chair for around 12ish hours, broken into 3 sessions + 1 touch up. An added bonus is that she has a sweet movie collection and is a super nerd (and she will probably teach you at least a few things every time you see her). 11/10 would recommend.

The Mile is well situated for driving or bussing, has plenty of parking and the shop is cozy and super clean. Nadia herself is a spectacular artist with great attention to detail, exceptional line work and a great eye for colour work. On top of her professionalism, Nadia is also just a lot fun to talk you and spend time with. I've never felt uncomfortable, awkward or poorly taken care of, and my sessions run 4-6 hours each time. Rest assured she's worth every effort to book in.
I put my faith in her for a major project and she has not disappointed! She hasn't just impressed me, either. Almost everywhere I go, whether it's the airport, a restaurant, family gatherings, public parks, work functions, conventions, it doesn't matter; I get complimented on my sleeve constantly.
If you're looking for a great artist and a great experience, you've found it in Nadia and The Mile.

I love The Mile Tattoo Studio! Nadia is a fantastic, hilarious, experienced and versatile artist. She is always willing to offer great ideas.I have followed her for nearly a decade and I am thrilled that she now has her own studio. I love that there is no middle man to deal with, you only speak with the artist herself. She is friendly and extremely professional. She is passionate about cleanliness and regulation/standards. I find that some shops lack this, so I really value this. This shop is the most comfortable one I've ever been in. You can really tell that she has put a lot of effort in to the renovations and decor. With Nadia being the only artist, there is no chatter or distractions from other artist or clients outside of the room. There are no interruptions to your conversation. She has developed a specialty for cover-ups and re-works and she is currently tattooing my entire torso to cover a poor decision I made in my teenage years - I am so happy with it and can't wait to finish it and have the previous tattoo be a distant memory. I highly recommend Nadia for all of your original idea, and cover-up needs!!

From start to finish my experience with Nadia was fantastic. She was quick to reply to my questions and very thorough in her explanations and replies. The shop itself was clean and very welcoming, and I loved that it was quiet and there were no other clients or artists. Nadia herself is delightful and whether your session takes 5 minutes or 5 hours you will be in excellent company. She made every effort to make me feel comfortable and at ease.

Nadia is very talented and pays great attention to detail! Her small shop is spotless and professional - more like a medical clinic than a tattoo parlour, which I appreciated. She put me right at ease and we had a great chat while she worked. Nadia nailed the fine lines and watercolour details in my tattoo; I highly recommend her!

Nadia is nothing short of awesome! This was my very first tattoo, and the overall experience couldn't have gone any better, I'm in love with the end product. You can tell Nadia is very passionate about what she does; I am pretty sure she was more excited about drawing up and tattooing this piece on me than I was about getting it. The Mile is well situated for driving or bussing, has plenty of parking and the shop is cozy and super clean. Nadia herself is a spectacular artist with great attention to detail, exceptional line work and a great eye for colour work. I love The Mile Tattoo Studio! Nadia is a fantastic, hilarious, experienced and versatile artist. She is always willing to offer great ideas.I have followed her for nearly a decade and I am thrilled that she now has her own studio. I love that there is no middle man to deal with, you only speak with the artist herself. She is friendly and extremely professional. She is passionate about cleanliness and regulation/standards. I find that some shops lack this, so I really value this. This shop is the most comfortable one I've ever been in. You can really tell that she has put a lot of effort in to the renovations and decor.
