I got my conch pierced...i got it done before from somewhere else but that was closed and was really painful for a couple of months..Sandra helped me redoing it and she was so proffessional , educative and awesome..i felt just a little poke and it was done ..was not at all painful and no feeling of redness or swelling afterwards coz she fixed it with the accurate angle of the hole..i would definitely recommend her if somebody needs piercing .. Today my I brought my 10 year old daughter in to have her ears pierced. From start to finish, the process was very easy. Sandra explained every step of the process, from selecting the right jewelry, to the steps of the procedure and after care. She put my needle-phobic daughter at ease, which I really appreciated. I had gone to Shambhala back when they resided farther down Whyte Avenue in their basement location, which is when I had gotten two of my tattoos with Amy M. which is why I thought to get another one done here at their new location. Unfortunately as it had been 2 years since my last tattoos here, I could not for the life of me remember Amy's name, so I made an appointment to come in for a consultation with one of their artists who funny enough happened to be Amy.She remembered my hubby and I which was nice; we discussed what I wanted, colors and placement before she got to work in drawing up a sketch. After a few minutes, she had her sketch and I was set up to be tattooed within the hour, which was nice as I was hoping to get it done same day.Soon enough I was in the chair and she was hard at work, giving me a beautiful lotus flower on my outer wrist; she was extremely personable, but also focused on her work to ensure it came out as we had envisioned it. When it was finished, I couldn't stop staring at it; it was so vibrant with color, perfectly placed and looked almost real. I loved and still love it!As we ended, she gave the normal spiel of aftercare, offered products to assist in the healing and advised for me to drop in to let her take a look as with touch ups if need be.Regarding the appearance; parking is a bit sparse, however they have a parking area in the rear of their building and they provide parking passes to be there. The interior is so large, bright and inviting; the employees are also very friendly and quick to jump in to help you the minute you walk into their shop.It was a great experience and Amy M. did an amazing job; I get compliments on my new tattoo all the time.
