I've been to Pitbull for all 8 of my piercings (my nose, helix, daith, rook, and double lobes) and I've had nothing but great experiences! Both Autumn and Bailey have pierced me and both are super welcoming, professional, and helpful. Front of house staff have always been super helpful as well, I've always been greeted every time I walk into the store. Please don't come here! I know that they have the two for one deal for piercings but please, go to a higher quality shop for piercings. I have no tattoos and therefore can't comment on their tattoo work, however I got two piercings here a while ago. My first one being an industrial piercing and second being a snug piercing, which I got because of the 2 for 1. The piercer was fine, it was a girl and she was nice, it didn't hurt that much and it was quick. That's pretty much it. That was about 2 years ago. Currently I have this gross keloid on my industrial piercing which is this bump that I can't remove with just tea tree oil, and my snug developed a disgusting puss filled bump on the back of my ear that turned into an ugly scar. Their jewelry is extremely cheap and will cause these things to occur, not only that but the beads fall off CONSTANTLY and you're better off buying high quality jewelry that will not fall off. I've gotten piercings from atomic zombie and dragon fx and have never experienced any of these things, my piercings healed perfectly fine and the jewelry is still intact. Also, to be clear I washed my piercings twice a damn day and I still got bumps. PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE WITH REPUTABLE PIERCERS AND JEWELRY!!! Read Less

I came here in February of 2019 to try something new and to see what else is out there, I read reviews on them and wen there to get my navel pierced, everyone was friendly and amazing. I got my piercing and it started to heal, time goes on and it gets worse so I called and told them what was going on, sent them a picture and they told me what to do. It worked for a little then it got worse from that so I went to my normal piercer and she said they pierced my tummy and not my actual navel because of the jewel and how my body is. They used a normal curved jewel like you would for any other navel but instead of piercing my navel they pierced aboved. My normal piercer said I should have had a Jbar for how my body is and the person who pierced me said nothing about it. In all fairness I didn't know a lot of about navel piercings when I first walked in but I believe I should've been told that I needed a Jbar and not a normal curved one. I went to get my first piercing other then my ears at pitbull a years ago to get my lip done then I went a second time with my mother to get our noses pierced. Needless to say I'm still very impressed with their work and will continue to go back for more as well as it has healed really well since getting them. They are clean and everything is sanitized even before getting my piercings I noticed the cleanliness. 5 stars if I can give them more I would. Read Less

The guy at the front (with the horns) was way nicer than the other reviews had claimed and Autumn was amazing she was so thorough and nice and very comfortable when asking questions. My friend and I went for their bogo piercings as walk in customers. The front desk was more than helpful. Actually told me that they wouldn't stretch my ear lobes til they'd healed a little more. I ended up getting two piercings and my friend got four done. Mike was SO helpful, knowledge and did all the piercings efficiently. He talks the entire time but my friend and I found it funny and comforting. Highly recommend getting pierced here! Read Less

Avoid this place at all cost.Between myself and a friend of mine, we've had 6 piercings done here plus have visited at least 10 times to buy jewelry. We are both fairly tattooed and pierced. The staff here really do think they're better than you and that you know absolutely jack s***. I recommend passing this place up and taking your business to a reputable place like atomic zombie. Atomic zombie may be more $, but you get what you pay for. Pitbull jewelry is bad quality, the customer service is abysmal; my friend had her septum pierced crooked and then it swelled it like crazy. We went back to have the piercer tell her it was normal and healing. He left the rind in and said to leave it in... but nope. Pain was too much and she went to her doctor who needed to drain it and remove the piercing otherwise an infection would have occurred. Read Less

I was nervous upon entering this place as we waited a long time before anyone came out to talk to us. As soon as we were greeted we were met with rude replies to simple questions. Then, we waited over an hour without knowing why or what to do next. No one came out for a long time, but they made sure to take our cash first. Once we finally got to talk to someone we were called into the back room. The piercer did a thorough job of talking me through the procedure and answering any questions I had. I had my daith and tragus pierced on either side of my ears. I have had many piercings throughout my life, and have never had this large of an issue with any of them. Fast forward a month or so and my piercings are not looking so hot. I developed bumps on both of them and they both got infected at various times. I followed the cleaning instructions the piercer gave me but neither piercing was improving. After 8 months or so of battling with the stupid things, I finally got in touch with someone from pitbull to see if there was anything I could do to help them heal. They provided me with a method that the piercer claimed almost always worked. I did as she said, and my piercings got worse. It has now almost been a year and all I want are these piercings taken out as they have caused me extreme discomfort and pain - way more than necessary. I even asked the piercer numerous times what type of metal she'd be using and if it was alright for sensitive skin; she assured me it was. I have tried to take my piercings out since then, but have failed. Now I will have to go back to this dreaded place to get them to do it for me. Needless to say, you get what you pay for! This is a cheap establishment that provides cheap quality and does not care about you once they have your money. Customer service needs serious help too. I will never get another piercing here again. I got two piercings done here today with Autumn and she was amazing. I was really nervous and honestly more nervous about being shirtless to actually get what I wanted done but she was so easy to work with very caring very understanding and made sure I was 100% comfortable the entire time. I’m not a big piercing person but I’d happily come back to see her for any others I may want in the future. I just went and got a couple piercings done by Autumn and she was very patient and attentive to my concerns with making for placement. She redid the marks until i was satisfied. She made sure the area was clean and sterile and made sure on multiple occasions that i was ok and asked whether i had any questions. She walked me through after care and then did one last quality check. Great customer service. Speedy and polite. The jewellery is nice and prices are extremely competitive. I've had several piercings done here over the last 4 years and I absolutely love this shop. The piercers have always come across as professional and knowledgeable to me. I had my rook and second helix pierced by Bailey this afternoon and she was great. The jewelry is good quality, piercing area is sanitary and the prices are more than fair. I drive approximately 3 hours out of my city to come to Pitbull. I've gotten 3 piercings done here, and all of them went off without any complications and healed beautifully. They DO NOT use cheap jewelry, and everything is sterilized and sanitized very well. The staff are super friendly and understanding. They know their stuff, and educate you on the healing and aftercare very well, and give you aftercare for the piercings as well. This place seemed pretty legit. My bestie and I went to get our second daith piercings here. Hers came out pretty good. Then I got mine... as soon as she (Bailey) put the ring through she said "it's swelling pretty bad and it's pushing it out. Give it some time and it will heal flat." We left and the pain and burning intensified. When I got home I was able to see that not only was the ring sticking out at a 90 degree angle but she had also pierced me very deep INSIDE my ear canal, quite far from the line she had drawn and I had approved. Swelling during this time was nearly nonexistent. Finally I went to another piercer and removed the earring and confirmed the piercing was botched. Gotten my septum, nostril, and helix all done by Bailey and no problems with any of them. Great deal, extremely clean, and Bailey is always thorough with explaining everything, is professional and accommodating to where you want your piercing and is patient with your decision. My sister got her septum and nipple done by Autumn and hasn't had a single problem since and mentioned how great she was, personally and professionally! My favorite place to get piercings. Definitely better than Envy! My friends got pierced at Envy and it was terrible and so sketchy! But at pitbull it had such an amazing atmosphere! The guy came on a bit strong at first but my peircer Autumn was so nice and made me feel really comfortable and not scared at all! This place is absolutely horrendous. You walk in, get glared at by the lady at the desk and horrible customer service. She's absolutely rude and doesn't make you feel welcome at all, but awkward and cold instead. I've gotten my industrial, septum x2, navel x2, industrial, nose, tongue, and smiley done here and it's safe to say I will NEVER come back. Pitbull obviously has no idea what metal is safe for jewelry because as I've never had problems with any metal/jewelry, they pierce me with a hoop, not telling me about the constant rotation and the horrible irritation bump that appeared literally the next week. And worst of all, I message Pitbull and they just tell me they can't do much. Just take it off or get a compression disk. Yeah, very helpful. They pierced my navel crooked and messed up my nose, they pierced through EXTRA tissue in my industrial which caused it to swell up into a giant, throbbing, violet sack of blood. I got it checked out by every other piercing studio I could find and it was said to be done poorly. And Pitbull charges a solid $80 for an "advanced" piercing they can't even manage. None of the piercers here are good at what they do, or even know what they're doing. I can't explain how many infections or problems I've had with their piercings and works, and NONE with any other studio. You guys also can't take customer complaints or reviews seriously, and block them instead, which shows you're the worst "piercing" studio in Edmonton. GO TO FX INC AT WEM PEOPLE! They know what they're doing! Pitbull is not worth it at ALL! You pay for what you get; cheap, crappy piercings that come with irritation and problems. Read Less

Overall my experience with Pitbull was very good and I would defiantly go back! The girl I first encountered at the front was very nice and welcoming with answering my questions! Mike (the piercer) is amazing! Highly recommend him! He really knows what he's doing and how to make you comfortable or how to give you a good laugh! I've had 4 piercings done here (nostril, septum, tongue webbing, and rook) and though the piercings themselves are fine, there are a lot of complaints I have about Pitbull. However there are some good things as well!The Pros:- The piercer that I've had everytime (A girl with lots of facial piercings whose name I don't remember) has been thorough, kind, and always gave me lots of information and answered all of my questions. She has always been kind and when I had a problem with my nose I called her and she gave me a ton of information and help. - The selection of jewelry is pretty good, and if you're looking for something they'll most likely have it. - Their buy one get one free sales happen quite frequently and are honestly a really good deal. One of the reasons why I keep going back here. The Cons:- Cash only. I never have cash on me and I always have to use the ATM in the shop, which, of course, has ATM fees. So annoying. It's 2015! So many people pay debit/credit and it seems kind of ridiculous to not have a debit machine in store. - The front staff are rude. Like, every time I have gone they've been rude. Asking things like "Are you sure you're old enough to get pierced?" And going "Hmmm. Kay." When looking at my drivers license. Not cool. - I had a major major major issue with my nostril piercing healing. I got my other nostril pierced at a different place and there weren't any issues. After I got it done at Pitbull it had a huge bump on it and wouldn't go away. I cleaned it as I should have and once I stopped following the salt soaks it calmed down. Was kind of disappointing and embarrassing to have a huge red bump on my nose, but it went away so all is well. If you're on Whyte and you want a spontaneous piercing, go to Pitbull. Read Less
