Worst tattoo experience ever! I hired Kyiel Cholik at $200 per hour thinking I was going to get quality and proffesionalism. Far from what I got! I gave him a picture of the tattoo I wanted and he stated he does not copy. I agreed and said these are only my ideas but this is what I want as a lower leg sleeve. Told him to make it his own as long as the finished product was similar in nature. All I heard was excuses about this is not my style, he didn't like the tattoo he was doing, he wouldn't choose this tattoo for himself..blah blah blah! I asked him from the beginning would you do this tattoo and he said he would but man it came with drama! Tattoo appointment was made for 12:30. This guy expects you to wait in the lobby while he draws something and if you don't like it, tuff! I sent him a message asking to see his ideas and he wouldn't share nothing, wouldn't respond, nor would he choose any of the ideas I liked. You either like it and get it tattood and if you don't like it, he puts up a tantrum. I told him it's my tattoo and on my body. I need to like it, no one else, and he stated very clearly I'm wrong and it's his art and he decides what I get. With no clear vision of what the end goal is. It's a sleeve for fs!! What a hack plan! We started the session with an owl piece that was suppose to have wings raised for flight. The day I got this piece he had an owl with wings lowered and already drawn up. The day before my appointment i asked for a sneak peak. No return message! I said this isn't what I wanted because of the wings. He said we can add wings later, it will look good he said. When I went back to get the wings he stated the owl has wings already. (And I knew this) We tried to put wings on and it looked like shit! He put zero time and effort into making it look half decent. They guy won't go over and above to try if he doesn't want to. We canceled the appointment and because he never gave me what I wanted in the first place the whole lower leg sleeve is compromised on its style and presentation. He said he would add in a wolf to the back of my leg instead. All the while I was thinking this better look awesome and he better have a plan because he won't follow mine. Well, decide for yourself....here's a pic of the wolf. Lmfao!! What a joke. After he promised he would have it ready to go on time and have a plan for the rest of the leg he came up short. When I called him on this, he told me there's the door. Use it. I asked for my refund and he stated nope, you pay for my time. Time that was not quality! It's a stencil off the internet. Yup that's right a COPY. But he has no time to share his ideas...lol right. So be careful of this place. You pay your $200 deposit and then you are at the mercy of the artist. They will talk to you like shit, they don't greet their customers when you walk in. They dont even say hello to you when you arrive. It's bizarre how they treat their customers and word of mouth is so big with businesses. Choose a local shop or artist who strives to earn your buisness. Not these jokers. I would never go back and I highly advise you find a place who charges you a drawers fee rather than a deposit to book. Get an artist with a good personality, someone who prides themselves on the work YOU want and not what they want you to wear. That's bullshit. You'll only need to meet Kyiel for a short while before you know what I'm talking about! I should of know better from the consult. His attitude has a lot to be desired. While you are in this tattoo parlor you will also notice the negativity amongst the crew. They talk negative about everything, and everyone is at fault but them. Choose a place with a good vibe because you'll more than likely be there awhile getting work done. Who want to sit and listen to that all day. You'll get a great tattoo, but it wont be anything special. Got a lion done by johnny de and it was amazing. 6 months later I see 2 other people on his Instagram page with the EXACT same lion picture. Very disappointed in the lack of creativity and willingness to just reuse somebody else's tattoo. Will not go back Read Less

In May 2018 I came into the shop as a walk-in for a consultation and talked to David Moss about a coverup and he gave me some terrific ideas. I booked an appointment for September 2018, put down a deposit, did my own research and came back in September with some pictures. We discussed what would work best for my situation and we started the tattoo. I've had tattoos in the past and David has a light touch where it barely hurt and didn't have to take any breaks. The tattoo turned out spectacular and I was in tears at how beautiful it is when I saw it finished, it's on my shoulder. The receptionist was very helpful and provided me with aftercare instructions which I followed to the letter. My tattoo never scabbed one bit, it did peel but that's normal. My mom wanted to get her 4th tattoo and I had seen a segment on Global News about Bearskin Tattoo and the work they supposedly do with veterans and guide dogs. My mom is a dog trainer so it seemed like a good fit. The two of us went to Bearskin for a scheduled consultation, my mom put down a $189 deposit but Bear wouldn't give her a scheduled appointment which didn't seem right to either of us. My mom emailed Bear and said that she changed her mind about getting the tattoo and I went back to Bearskin with my Mom's deposit slip cause she is in Phoenix to get her money back and I was told by Bear that deposits are non-refundable. Really?!?! Bear is very unprofessional and I will be taking my mom to see David when she gets home. David is very reasonably priced and professional and people, don't forget to tip your artist, I did and the tattoo is worth every cent Read Less
