Showed up for a walk in, was helped right away and walked away with a couple tattoos that I liked better than my original thought. The vibe in the shop is immaculate, nice place to spend a chunk of your day. Very fair pricing, Will definitely be back. Thank you Daniel!!

So on a whim, my friend and I decided to get tattoos to commemorate our vacation (cheesey? Maybe, don't hate) while we were visiting Banff.This shop was recommended by a local, and not too far away from where we were. I was skeptical because the website looked like it hadn't been updated in a while and I really couldn't find much info online. Usually for tattoos I do extensive research! To be fair, we had a design picked out and it was some fairly simple line work. We did try to call ahead for an appointment, but didn't have any luck reaching anyone. Crossing our fingers, we went ahead and drove over to the shop to attempt a walk in. There was a sign on the door for walk-ins to call, which we did (immediately answered) and Don came right out to talk to us! The shop itself is full of art, it's clean and orderly without looking too hospital-ish. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and professional. They do have a 160 CAD minimum, FYI! Also, cash only so we (and by we, I mean my friend) had to go try and find an ATM. We each had a small tattoo done (I think the set up time took longer than the actual tattoo). Very pleased with the cleanliness and work. Tattoos are healing perfectly. Also, while waiting for the ATM, Don was recommending some of his favorite places to take visitors (we did hit a couple of them while we were there!) Overall this was a great experience, super great people to work with even for a quick small tattoo. Would highly recommend this shop.

This shop has an artist that goes by the name "purplekidart" i meet her at the vancouver tattoo convention and was going to get a piece done by her, i put a $100 deposit down on the first day (friday)...
This shop has an artist that goes by the name "purplekidart" i meet her at the vancouver tattoo convention and was going to get a piece done by her, i put a $100 deposit down on the first day (friday) and made an appointment for 3 o`clock on sunday, and we exchanged phone numbers. She goes by the name Jessica and is the most disrespectful human i have ever delt with in my life, first she stole my $100 deposit and than denied me ever giving one. She put the wrong stencil on my arm..obviously she had no idea what she was doing. Than she tried to call me a scammer and asked how many other people i have ripped off, said she couldn`t trust me because shes seen me at the convention all weekend (i`m covered in tattoos) HOW RUDE IS THAT and then her and her boyfriend start talking in their own language about me and threaten to call security on me ..for wanting my money back . I hope this shop fires this woman because she was harassing me and treating me like a piece of garbage. I HIGHLY recommend a different artist and maybe even a different shop.

Got my first tattoo on March 16, and I am in total love. Great place, and amazing artists (I saw Ben)! You couldn't be in better hands to get some ink done, I cannot recommend enough!

Super talented artist, clean shop, nice guys to hang with for a couple hours, really awesome. Might be hard to get in but totally worth it! Someday we'll be back!

I absolutely love the talent and the overall vibe of this tattoo studio. The location, nestled in the breathtaking Bow Valley, makes for a serene drive to get there and beautiful mountain views during sittings. While the views are great the artists are what makes this studio exceptional. There is a calming feeling as soon as you enter the studio, that could easily be mistaken for an art gallery, and everyone there is welcoming and happy to discuss your next piece of body art. This is a successful business but don't be surprised to see the significant others and children of artists pop in for a quick visit as clearly those that work out of this studio are a big family. If you are looking for a beautiful custom tattoo from an artist that cares about what they are putting on your body, go and meet with the Samurais, or one of the special guest tattooers that frequent the studio and start your journey in beautiful custom body art!

Really cool shop. Everyone if very friendly. The front of the shop is set up like an art gallery with really awesome art all over the walls. When you go into the back to get tattood, its bright and a very open concept.
My artist was Timea. I sent her a picture of the idea I wanted and when I got there she had turned it into a really awesome design. She did a great job making it original and unique. Something no one else would have. I was very impressed with the whole experience and would definitely go there again!

Heard this place was the best in Canmore, years ago. Had some leftover work that wasn't finished and hadn't been in a while, so I had Don, I believe squeeze me in to finish up. Heard he was also one of the best, so I had great confidence in his abilities... After finishing the work on my back, he suggested adding some red to my pink and white lily, said it would look great, so I said, sure... then added that some better outlining and shading would look great too on the existing artwork, so i said ok... After he finished and I looked at what he did, I honestly nearly cried. My beautifully detailed pink and white lily was now a solid red, with a bunch of short added petals, and black lines as the detail, that didn't even resemble a lily anymore... it looked terrible. I was so upset. I didn't realize that adding some red meant colouring it a solid red...Not happy.The outlining also was a disappointment, as it was just thick black outlining that made the whole thing look cartoonish. I was pretty upset.Things may have changed, as this was a few years ago. I thought I'd share to advise others to be very clear in communication with your artist...as every time i see the 13 hours of work on my back, I shake my head in dissapointment, not pride.

So on a whim, my friend and I decided to get tattoos to commemorate our vacation (cheesey? Maybe, don't hate) while we were visiting Banff.This shop was recommended by a local, and not too far away from where we were.
