I've had the pleasure of getting tattooed by each of the artists, Dustin, Kent, and Alex Zgud who did my most recent piece.
Absolutely love the atmosphere, relaxed and not pretentious. They all smile and that makes a world of difference to me, they understand the value of customer service and the impact of getting a work of meaningful art tattooed on your permanently.
Can't recommend them enough!

Very clean & you will probably learn a thing or two depending on who tattoos you!
At the very least go check them out!!!

AMAZING place! So clean. Very organized.
I'm so happy with my tattoos. Kent and Dustin listened to exactly what i wanted And made sure it all worked out for me :)

First time going to this studio. Chad Good was a great tattooist taking on someone else's disaster. Great insight, very professional. Met two other artists there both friendly. Made you feel like you've been going there for years. Studio is very clean, great background music. Definitely check them out!

The artist here does NOT know how to draw a heart. He completely screwed up my first tattoo. Of course not welcoming me well when I first came in the shop, and when I tried to really talk about tattoo...

Of course not welcoming me well when I first came in the shop, and when I tried to really talk about tattoo and asked him what's his opinion about the design, he just replied "I don't know" Cannot recommend this shop to others.

Amazing atmosphere and the tattoo artists are very humble, super friendly and they are very fair priced...oh and did I mention they are incredible artists that love what they do? You will not be disappointed with the final product and will definitely want to come back for more ink. Every artist is so unique with their own style that I plan on getting work done by all of them!

I would highly recommend Studio Phi if you're looking for something original and amazing. I've had work done by Dustin and Alex and they're both outstanding tattoo artists, both in design and talent, but professionalism as well. Whether it's your first or your fortieth Studio Phi is one of the best tattoo shops in Calgary, and most likely North America.

Meaning to post for a bit but life took over. For a shop downtown in a busy area, I was happy that there was a parking lot across the street that I used and noticed that there is also street parking. You have to pay but that is the nature of downtown and not the shops issue. I saw Kent King and he fit me in at the last minute for some tattoo add on by another artist. His idea was really great and I am really happy with his work. He is professional and courteous! The shop is clean and has a nice vibe that made me feel relaxed.

The vibe in this shop was perfectly calm and cool. All of the staff were kind, easy going and funny and I really enjoyed my time there. I called for an appointment last minute and it was accommodated which was awesome. Kent, my tattoo artist, was amazing! His technique was perfection and of all my tattoos the one he did for me hurt the least!! If I lived in Calgary, I would definitely have another tattoo here and I would happily recommend this shop to anyone in Calgary! Thanks again Kent!

I had a fantastic experience at Studio Phi Tattoo. The studio was VERY clean and the staff were very knowledgeable and fun. Kent, my artist, was very patient and took his time to make sure every aspect of my tattoo was what I wanted. I love my Tattoo and will definitely be back for another tattoo soon.

Absolutely love the atmosphere, relaxed and not pretentious. They all smile and that makes a world of difference to me, they understand the value of customer service and the impact of getting a work of meaningful art tattooed on your permanently.

Very clean & you will probably learn a thing or two depending on who tattoos you!
