I called to book an appointment for my mom, birthday present and she lives out of town. I was told I had to come in and give my deposit to book her appointment. Are we in the 21st century? Thanks Fairly inconvenient as the hours are in the middle of the day. My options were for my husband to take time off work to book my mom an appointment or I have to drag my two small children down there with me. I chose to go with my children to find a sign on the door saying no children. I phoned and asked if the receptionist could just come outside to take my cash deposit and book the appointment. I was told no. I guess they don't need my money or positive word of mouth from me! Read Less

I have two tattoo's done by Paul Jeffries and his art work and tattooing is bar none. I will have him do all of my tattoos, especially my animal ones. If I could do more stars I would. I have had very little itching of scab peeling. Read Less

I wouldn't get "inked" anywhere else. Paul Jefferies' reputation speaks for itself. He has done 3 tattoos for me this year already and I'm scheduled for a 4th later this year. The entire staff at  Smilin' Buddha are awesome. Saturday is their day for walk-ins but I would advise getting there as early as possible to have your choice for your appointment time and the artists you would like. Be sure to have your tattoo idea printed on paper, they will not accept pictures from your smart phone, or tablet. Read Less

I'm looking to get some more ink done and everyone and their dog has been recommending Smilin' Buddha as THE place to go. I've been trying to make a point of getting inked in every city that I live in, so it's due time that I paid some homage to my hometown. The tat. I'm planning on getting done at Smilin' Buddha is one that will have to be *perfect*. It's a tat. paying tribute to someone very special that I lost a couple of years ago. There's NO room for error on this one. I went in for my consultation and was pretty impressed with all the information they gave me.
