He took on 4 girls on New Year's Day after calling that morning! Jay drew up the perfect tattoos from vague ideas, and was very accommodating and open to changing the design multiple times. He freehanded all four tattoos and we're all in love with them!! Delicate and very detailed. Definitely recommend him - anytime I'm in Calgary I'll be going to him.. also helps that he's the nicest guy and is super funny!

Guys were amazing..hubby and I got cancelled on from another place and when we called he said to come on down he would be waiting for us..we drove from lethbridge to Calgary..got there at 8 and they stayed open till 11 just to put a smile on our face. I totally recommend this place anytime. Thanks again you Guys!!! Love the work. :)

We came in early May to get matching 'ring' tattoos for our second wedding anniversary. I was a little nervous because we only wanted a couple tiny letters - nervous because a) I'm a giant wimp b) I imagined tiny lettering left no space for mistakes or even a slightly unsteady hand (and thus it could look terrible if not done by the right person) c) it might be "below" a tattoo artist to do such a tiny piece of art on a largely untattooed person - I thought that they wouldn't... take me seriously and just kind of roll their eyes and make me feel a little bit ridiculous for only wanting such a small tattoo. BUT - we had a fabulous experience! They were so pleasant and chatty, and instantly made me feel comfortable. They were happy to alter the design so we got exactly what we wanted, and were super intense about safety (always a mega plus in a tattoo parlour!). The lettering looks amazing, and it was done with such a gentle, steady hand that it hardly hurt at all and was done in minutes. Thank you so so much for such a pleasant experience - we will definitely recommend Blacksheep Tattoos to our friends. See More

He took on 4 girls on New Year's Day after calling that morning! Jay drew up the perfect tattoos from vague ideas, and was very accommodating and open to changing the design multiple times.
