My boyfriend and I recently went to the shop to get tattoos. This was my boyfriends very first one and we were excited. We looked at reviews online all positive and good. The facebook group showed good art work. But when we got there experience went downhill. I'm not even sure what the artists name was he never really introduced himself. He was running behind, I went first my tattoo was going well until the end when I realized the lines weren't all that good. But fixable. (Still need to fix them he was kinda rushy). My boyfriends tattoo on the other hand is a bit of a disaster and it's super upsetting. It's his first one the lines aren't straight, some even don't line up where they cross each other. A lot are shaky and not consistent. And there's no real way to salvage the situation as his tattoo is a symbol done in solid black. Sections that should have defined spaces touch and looks poorly done. And when we were setting the tattoo up the artist was difficult because my boyfriend didn't want it super thick or thin and the artist kept saying it's either a single thin line or this super dark thicker line. He didn't really try or care and it was obvious. He even stated that he had been tattooing for 17 years. His line work should have been better. Currently my boyfriends first tattooing experience is one full of regret which is so sad because the tattooing community is wonderful. All in all Were upset and disappointed. Read Less
