Having been here before and had a great experience, I didn't hesitate to recommend these guys to my boyfriend to finish the sleeve he started (by started I mean one small tattoo). He was really keen so for Christmas I bought a gift certificate for him, and explained to the manager that he has an existing tattoo on the arm and they were more than happy to help. Fast forward to booking time and the artist refused to do the work as he didn't want to take credit for the existing piece. Not only that, but both the manager (who was incredibly unprofessional and rude going as far as to make fun of the tattoo), and owner refuse to refund me for the gift certificate even though it's useless. Nowhere on the certificate or their website is there a refund policy posted for the public to view and according to them it was my responsibility even though I have never heard of an artist knocking someone back. They absolutely took advantage of my not knowing about this possibility even though they knew he had existing work and it apparently "happens often in their studio". Breach of consumer laws and a filthy attitude to go with it. Plenty of great artists at other studios who will treat you a lot better - avoid this place or if you insist on going with them, ask every question under the sun so you don't get ripped off like I did. Was lucky enough to go there last weekend to get a small piece done by their apprentice Lachi. Everyone there is a quality person and were happy to help out to make sure the alignment of my tattoo was perfect and make sure i had a good experience walking out.
