Was booked in to get a tattoo with a certain Artist,two days after booking it with her I was called and informed she was no longer working there and that Andre would be taking over my tattoo,I was wei...
Was booked in to get a tattoo with a certain Artist,two days after booking it with her I was called and informed she was no longer working there and that Andre would be taking over my tattoo,I was weirded out,I had wanted her to draw & do my tattoo it was booked with her I had handed her my deposit.
When I told Andre I didn't want the tattoo (done by him) and asked for a refund of my deposit he told me no and insisted that he had already drawn up some stuff for me to see, firstly it wasn't drawn,it was obviously copied and pasted google images poorly thrown together in paint not even photo shop
I was also informed by the artist that he had refused to allow her to finish HER other clients tattoos.(yeah not starting other tattoos FINISHING them)
Called Consumer affairs, I am well within my rights to receive a full refund but if I couldn't figure it out with him I could go to a Vcat but the fee for that is $60 odd dollars.
Don't go here there's plenty of other way better tattoo studios.
He was rude and idiotic.

Great experience with these guys. I wanted a cover up and I got a lot of open, honest advice about different style with no pressure. We talked through a lot of options until we found the right one.
It ended up quite different to my original idea and I'm really happy with it.

I've had both my neck and hand done there, (spider and Frankenstein's monster respectively) both of which were detailed pieces at a good price, awesome vibe and I have no complaints.

Got my half sleeve done here by Adrian, couldn't be happier! By far the best tattoo place around, very clean environment, very chilled atmosphere, and awesome tattooists!!

On the 22nd of October 2014 Ry started a memorial leg piece for me to honor my daughter, On this day it was my daughters 10th year anniversary (so emotions were already running high for me) it was my first time at Ringwood tattoo but I was made too feel so welcome by Ry, who kept me very entertained with conversation and some story sharing and some very funny movies throughout my 7 hours in the chair, The shop atmosphere was very comfortable, I would highly recommend Ringwoo...d Tattoo to anyone thinking of getting a tattoo, piercing or even laser tattoo removal, it will be the only place from now on that I get work done and I'm pretty sure the same goes for my whole family, Thank you all so much for making my day a memorable one and a big thanks to Ry for my awesome memorial piece, you truly are a very talented young artist with a very bright future your work is amazing, I'm one very happy client :o) See More

One of the only tattooists I know of that doesn't take bookings; Ringwood Tattoo did my latest tattoo, after I decided to try a new tattooist.I called them up and asked if they had time for a 'walk in', and the guy told me to come straight down. I popped in and showed him my design, and when I asked when he could so it, he said "Now."Half an hour later I left with a new work of art, and that was that.Having been in the game for a long time now, the owner knows his stuff, and the young guy who works alongside him seems to be quite popular too. Although I paid a lot more than usual, I put it down to the fact that since my last tattoo, this form of expression has become 'the new black' with everyone getting ink done these days.

Was booked in to get a tattoo with a certain Artist,two days after booking it with her I was called and informed she was no longer working there and that Andre would be taking over my tattoo,I was weirded out,I had wanted her to draw & do my tattoo it was booked with her I had handed her my deposit.
