Came to Pete for a black and grey realism piece of my dog and came out absolutely perfectly. After about 9 months it still looks amazing. He was great overall, and was really invested in getting my piece as perfect as possible - to the point where he rescheduled his appointment after me and stayed late to make sure he got every detail right. I was pretty anxious that it won't come out right as this was a very important tattoo to me, but there was no reason to be. Pete has a great portfolio and I'm proud to have his work on my leg. For a full day of work we paid $800. When I went for my consult I found the deposit was $100 more than I expected but I was able to book when I was $50 short (provided I brought in the rest as soon as I arrived for my tattoo). Couldn't recommend this place and Cynthia more highly! This was my first tattoo and I was really nervous and a total noob with everything. Cynthia was really understanding and her art is AMAZING! She made me feel comfortable, eased me through the process, and gave me the most perfect tattoo, everyone who sees it is just blown away. Could not recommend this shop enough! Everyone that works here is super lovely and super amazing at their jobs! I didn't live in Melbourne so we had to do organise the whole tattoo through emails and these guys were amazing at getting me booked in when it suited me and drawing up the design perfectly! I was booked in with Brea and she is by far the best artist I have ever been tattooed by. So very talented. She worked on my piece all day and made me feel so comfortable and in safe hands. Cannot fault this place or the lovely Brea at all! It's clean and welcoming and well set out. Brea is an absolute gem and makes the experience so much better. I've had two tattoos done by her and one small finger one done at another place fixed up by her. She's done a fantastic job on all of them and i'm so thankful I've found someone who's talented and lovely to be my permanent tattoo artist! Had my first tattoo experience here today. They made me feel very welcome, and listened to what I wanted (the word "love" written in my Nana's handwriting). I was in and out in an hour and the people who served me, talked with me, tattooed me, all clearly loved their job. The best way i can describe the atmosphere was relaxed and understanding. Brilliant experience! Had an appointment with Cynthia, who has a beautiful unique style of tattoo. I found her work to be very vibrant, alive, and detailed - I was not disappointed. She was extremely precise and very professional. Heads up that the shop only takes cash payments for work, however I was graciously able to sneak out to the 7/11 a few shops down, where there's an ATM available. This place was completely let down by the guy sitting at the front desk. When I walked in the front door, he was at the front desk, so without even thinking I said "Hi, I have an appointment at 7." Seemingly, this is not the thing to say in a tattoo parlour as the guy replied with a smart "Really? Congratulations." Then turned away from me. He then proceeded to pass a smart comment about me to the lady who was about to do my tattoo. Maybe he thinks that working in a tattoo shop is so cool that good customer service doesn't matter? I am sure he is a good guy really but he really did not give a very nice impression to a first time customer, and made me feel very uncomfortable in there. Anyway, would highly recommend Cristiana who did my actual tattoos. I would give 5 stars if it was just based on her. Read Less
