Went to off ya tree in Petrie plaza Canberra. Had the piercer named Kayla, she was so lovely, helpful and just very good at her job. Had thirds done in my lobes and a cartilage piercing. She even changed a nose piercing that had gone wrong (pierced at another place) and took great care in doing so, gave me great advice to fix and take care of it. The stuff was nice but they didn't listen to me when I said I need surgical steel because I have had reactions to other metals n I was told that it's surgical steel but two weeks later my ear was so swollen I went to the dr and he took one look at it it was badly infected even though I cleaned it a few times a day with the cleaning stuff u sold me n cleaned it how I was told too n then I also had a reaction to the jewellery u used it wasn't surgical steel at all like I was to...ld the dr had to cut it out it was that bad it just happened to be that the nurse was also doing a beauty course n did say what it was made out of n said that it was not surgical steel at all do not recommend this place oh and my friend who came hers also was infected n the dr suspects that the tools wasn't as clean as they should be n that's what coursed the infection See more Read Less

I had my daith piercing done at another place and needed to get it removed for medical reasons, I went to Off Ya Tree to get it removed as the piercing itself was hidden quite well and the ball on the curved barbell was super tight so even if I wanted to try myself I couldn't...the staff there were super nice and awesome! Just got my Industrial piercing done at Forest Hill by Mandel, who was being trained by Brendan. So happy with it, they took the time to ask if I wore glasses regularly, as that would affect the piercing. It's not rubbing on my glasses and looks fantastic. My daughter had her belly pierced last week today i had to take her into a shop in adelaide to have it removed due to them doing completely wrong instead of doing 8mm apart it was done 14mm and caused the top part of the bar to sink into the hole im disgusted that this happened considering they are supposed to be the best place to go and to top it off i called to let them know what had happened and the women superviser tried to blame touching and swelling for the problem when in fact when it was removed the new place measured the pierced holes and it was nearly double the distance it should of been if left it would of been surgery to remove the hole thing im so unhappy with the response its a joke blaming it on something it wasnt instead of listening to the actual cause i will be ringing back not to speak to her but to speak to the actual manager i don't want money back but think once healed they should be organising it to be redone cost on them Read Less
